It is a rare occasion for me to to leave a review. And even more rare to leave a negative one. I have been a canvas customer since they were public service way back in 2013 I have never had a bad experience that I felt I had to share until today. First, it took close to ten minutes to get a response after sending my withdrawal request through the drive through tube. The little blonde girl working at the drive-thru was pretty curt and expedited customers that had arrived after me before me even though I only asked for two rolls of quarters. She proceeded to then tell me that nobody there had access to the vault for change and that I had to come back in 30 to 40 minutes. I don't know about these people, but it's not always an option to "come back in 30" when you live across town and already took the time to schedule this visit around your personal life. It seems pretty counter intuitive to run a bank with employees that don't have access to a bank vault. I only wanted to do laundry today lol I don't know. I think its more about the principle that this is my money you have in that vault and I should be able to access it at any time during normal business hours. I was already considering leaving this branch after the last visit where it took close to 35mins in line with only 3 people in line and each one was already with a teller. I think now may be the time to commit to switching to a new CU.

I came to this location because I needed rolls of quarters to do my laundry. My banking institution (not Canvas) was short on quarters due to the coin shortage so they were not able to give me any $10 rolls. They recommended canvas, so I came here to make some change, Not having an account. I know that every banking institution is different, but I used to be a teller myself at one point. Anybody could come in and make change if they needed to do so. I waited for 20 minutes and sent the tube back-and-forth three times before someone could tell me that they were not able to make change for me unless I had an account there. I considered opening an account at canvas, but after my interaction here I will never open an account at Canvas credit union solely by the way I was treated, talked down to and how long I had to wait for the most simple of any banking transaction. You want to have control of my hard earned money and also want to treat me like that? Absolutely not.

I love Canvas! I've been with them since before they changed the name and was known as Public Service Credit Union. Sometimes they may be slow to answer phones or get to you in store, but that is understandable, espec during a pandemic. The over all outcome is they take the time to explain everything going on and they make sure that all of your questions are answered. I love this bank and I always, always recommend them to my friends, family, coworkers, etc. Definitely give em' a try!

I am not one to really post a negative comment, but this will be a first for me in regards to this bank. I unfortunately had to go with this bank on my Auto Loan as it was the only option available with the dealership. Things are great from 6/2019 until around 8/2020. I started dropping checks into the night drop instead of waiting in the long line as mentioned in the other reviews. Covid and safety of the others. Completely get it. No problem. First time I missed a payment was August 2020, didn't realize it until I get a phone call. Well, understandable, it happens, until this happens again in November. The banker/officer didn't seem to care that this was the second time. I'm thinking, "ok, they are having a bad day, maybe I wasn't in a good mood," and just moved on. Fast forward to March this year, it happens again. Third times the charm, right? I get super sick in April and I MISSED the payment, yes me, not them. I am out of work for a bit. Now comes May, I get a call about the missed payment and pay over the phone to catch up. Feeling good now! Nope! They took payment for the month of March, not the missed April payment. At this point, I'm understandably upset, but just think I'll press my luck one more time. Write a check for 3 months of payments and should be in the clear. Guess what? Yeah, hasn't cleared yet. Get a call this past Friday 6/12/2021. "Sir, you're payments are late again." I am done, so done. My problem is this, I work during the hours that they are open and can't leave my place of employment due to us being short staffed, not knowing how long it will take with the banker, even setting up an appointment they will cancel, or not "remember" you are coming in. Their app is an absolute joke because you CANNOT make a payment there, or even online. When you call their hotline, they AREN'T even available but during their normal business hours. I am taking off next Tuesday and Wednesday to make sure I can get this straight!!!!!!

Love Canvas for just about every. They've been a great help during the pandemic. Always smiling and friendly. Only negative I've noticed is that if you use a non-Canvas ATM, you not only get charged that ATM fee, but Canvas also charges you an extra 2$ fee for not using their ATM. So anytime I pull out cash at a non-canvas ATM, it cost me 5$.

Never available when you need them, online bill pay never works and can never get back to you on any questions about your account. Problems happen after 5:00 can never be taken care of until the next day leaving you helpless and stranded. The customer service is all automated and it’s difficult to get answers to questions. Don’t waist your time.

I just moved to Loveland so I had no choice but to go to this branch, I would say that my experience here has been the worst of anywhere I've ever gone. They are very disrespectful and unprofessional, and won't help when it is needed. I would highly recommend not going to this branch let alone recommend canvas credit Union as a reliable and good bank.

My husband opened a new business account with them and the next day received notice that they did a hard inquiry on his personal credit. (Never has this ever happened before opening a personal or business account) When he contacted the bank and informed them that they never stated they were going to do this, their reply was basically "to bad we are not going to do anything about it." Approximately 2 months later I was added as a signer on the account. Just for being a signer they also ran a hard inquiry on my credit as well. Now we are learning that by adding me as a signer they consider it a "new" account and now, for the second time, are holding funds for 48 hrs on any checks that are deposited for the next 30 days. In the 30 plus years we have had various bank accounts this is by far the worst institution we have ever banked with and will be planning on switching banks. Even with the damage already done we will not support a bank that works this way.

Literally the worst bank I’ve ever done business with. Got turned away for wanting to speak to a banker 45 minutes before closing. 45 minutes!! Didn’t matter that I got there as soon as I could. doesn’t matter what I had going on..
