STAY AWAY!!!!!!!! If I could rate this less than one star I would!! Our loan got transferred to BSI and we had nothing but trouble! They sent our paperwork to another household in some other state and consistently had issues with payments not being reflected on their end!! We immediately paid off the loan less than a year with this company due to how horrible their service is! Also, good luck getting in touch with Daniel Montez!!! Straight to voicemail! 3 months after we paid off the loan and it’s still showing active on my credit! Again, stay away!!! **** Daniel!!! You were quick to respond to my very honest and fair review but have ignored my calls and consistently tell your customer service reps that you’re in meetings or out to lunch .. I’ve called every hour since your response and asked for you personally and have yet to get in touch with you! Horrible service as a company and a person!!

I have continuously paid my mortgage before the due date and many months they sit on the check. They do not have a way for my bank to do an electronic transfer so a check has to be cut and mailed. To try and deal with this situation, I now have my check sent so that it will arrive 10 or more days prior to the due date and still they are sitting on my check. At one point, I called about a check that had not been cashed. Customer Service told me that they did not show that a check had arrived. To avoid a late payment, I submitted a payment online through their system. The very next day, my original check cleared my bank which means they likely had it when I called. Today I sit here on 1/31/22. My check should have arrived around 1/20/22 and they are still showing that I have not paid my mortgage. I have been with them since 7/2022 and it has been this way every month. I am considering refinancing my mortgage (likely at a higher rate) just so I can get away from worrying about this company dinging my stellar credit rating/payment history. If you have a choice to stay away from this company, I would highly advise finding another choice for your mortgage if for no other reason to avoid the headaches. Edit: To respond to Mr. Montez, I am uncomfortable with any company having access to pull money from my account particularly one that is as low rated as BSI Financial. To blame the postal service for these issues is reprehensible considering the fact that the time I called, BSI had the check already since it cleared my bank account the very next day. I do now have these issues with the mortgage company for my rental property and that one is also being delivered by USPS and the company is based further away.

I have never seen a more incompetent company in my life. My loan was transferred to them without my knowledge. Rather than a welcome letter, I got a letter saying my house was under foreclosure? For some bizarre reason whenever I call I get multiple different answers from different people. I have sent countless emails to my mortgage officer and called many times and it's always a different answer. My credit score has dropped 160 points since going with this company as whenever I pay my mortgage it never goes to the house it goes to a non-applied funds account. It's been a nightmare. I have not been able to refinance my other property because my credit score took such a hit.

I've had the worst experience with this company..after about 3 or 4 repeatedly calling this Company to get a payoff of my mortgage by mail & email, I finally got an email, never got a hard copy by mail..The email gave me a payoff balance good thru 5-5-22 They received my payoff in full 4-24-22. they applied it as a monthly payment..and I still have a balance..to add insult to injury..the customer service representative told my payoff balance has increased because they paid for the renewal of my insurance & my escrow was short..my insurance wasn't schedule for renewal for almost a month later. and I'm not renewing with the same company because their policy increased..asked. to speak to a supervisor,.she ensured me that the errors would be cleared up & they were sending the payoff over to cashiering that would be resolved and my deed would be in the mail .still waiting. make a long story short almost 3 weeks later my mortgage haven't been paid off nor have I received my escrow check..each representative gives me a different story..Stay away from these people.. I see red flags..

The worst! If we had any choice we will definitely change to other mortgage lenders! We set up auto pay and paid in full every single month, started from December 2021. And even paid more on our escrow to prepare for the increasing property taxes. But their system NEVER make it right, and this month shows we have late payment! We called several times, and every time different people gave us different answers and different solutions and NONE of them works. THE WORST!

The absolute worst mortgage company. Anytime you call, expect to have to wait at least 30 minutes. No one seems to know what is going on...if you have an issue, you can get 3 different answers from 3 different people. Personally, I am still waiting to receive my escrow surplus check which was canceled 4 months ago...weekly calls to try and resolve and no progress so far. Use another lender if you can.

Consider going elsewhere with your mortgage needs. My loan was sold the BSI beginning Jan 1, 2022 and I’ve already had enough of them. I have been trying to reach a living, breathing human being for WEEKS now. Every time I call I leave a message requesting a call back and never hear from them. This is NOT acceptable! My old mortgage company picked up the phone every time I called with the occasional message for a call back, but they always called back within 24 hours. I’m literally at my wits end with this company!! BSI you should be ashamed of the way your treating your clients, especially with all that’s going on that’s negatively affecting peoples finances. Do better!!!

Ghosted, This company bought my mortgage several years ago. I had no issues with them until I decided to refinance using them again. I assumed because I had no issues before I would not have any going forward. On the day that I signed the closing documents I got an email stating that I would not be charged for the next month’s mortgage payment on my original mortgage. This assurance was made by one of the loan officers named Brad Reynolds. I was charged my next months mortgage payment for the old mortgage and shortly there after completely ghosted. I have reached out repeatedly and have received no response from this company after they charged me an extra $857 that they promised not to charge. As seen below the AVP said that he would work with me to resolve this matter. Only neither of the phone numbers that I have work long enough to make a selection before failing. I am in BSI’s system but they have not the ability nor willingness to reach out to me directly. Mr. Montez, Both Brad Reynolds and Patience Chamisah (an excellent underwriter who will quickly be headhunted by a more reputable mortgage firm) worked on my refinance and know how to contact me. I look forward to receiving word from you and the return of the money taken from my account.

So far I'm not liking this company. My mortgage was sold to these people and they only paid my county tax and have not paid my mud tax which has now resulted in me being fined. I e called them 4 different times and was told that they would correct this problem and it still hasn't been corrected my next step will be to contact my lawyer and set up legal action against them.

This company literally has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. BSI bought my mortgage from my previous mortgage company and it has been hell ever since. We had roofing damage that happened early last year and our insurance company sent the check to get our roof repaired. This was how we found out we had a different mortgage company.... think about that. We didn't get a call, a welcome letter anything. That check had to be sent to BSI along with other documents so that they could disperse the funds. That was 2 months ago. After about 35 calls, countless emails and regular mail; we still don't have our roof. I suspect that BSI is trying to do something nefarious with the money as they have no reason to continue holding it. Every time I talk to a representative they tell me something different than the last. I would be typing all day if I were to get into more detail so let me say this. Please save yourself the trouble, do NOT do business with this company. I will be re-financing soon even if I get a higher interest rate, and if they buy my mortgage again, I will re-finance again. Soon I will be reaching out to the Texas Department of Savings and Mortgage Lending.
