    Best BMW dealership in CA. Dustin King was very professional and we were able to negotiate a very fair deal over the phone. Flew into San Diego, took a cab from the airport to the dealership and was out in under one hour in my new car. That kind of service is unequaled.

    (LOOK AT ALL 1 STARS) I'm a local business owner born and raised in San Diego. This is the only negative review I have ever written. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. THE OTHER BMW LOCATIONS ARE FAR SUPERIOR. GO TO VISTA. ITS WORTH THE DRIVE. Trunk stopped opening. Brought it in. BMW of San Diego: "This should be covered. We'll take a quick look." (Over 2 hours later, waiting) "We don't know what is wrong with it. But it will be $280 to take a look." That price was too high. Month later I bring it back. Now they want to charge me $360 to take a look. Same issue. Same dealership. They kept the car forever. Massively over charge me. Line item on the 'Repair Order Detail' literally states, 'Electrical Concern'. THEY CHARGE ME $859.00 to fix a damn trunk latch. No explanation. AND.... I go to pick up the car. Trunk does not work. They are literally trying to convince me the trunk does, indeed, work. The trunk does not open. I ask for a refund. The guy with the suit fly's in. Assures me everything will be fine. They keep the car. They charge me an ADDITIONAL $212.35 ON TOP OF THE $859.00. At this point, I am willing to pay just so that I don't have to deal with this location again. Very bad vibe. They charge me over $1,071.35 for a trunk latch and bogus line items. Then I get a phone message and they start threatening me with additional fees demanding the loaner vehicle be returned immediately. The lady sounded like a hostile prosecution attorney. Apparently, she, for some reason, was under the impression that the vehicle had been completed on the 10th. Not even close lady. Great idea BMW. Lets over charge the customer, not fix the issue, then lets threaten them with more fees, and charge them a second time because we are not doing our job. When my vehicle was FINALLY ready, it looked HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. It was filthy. FILTHY. There were all kinds of debris that were caked on the vehicle that was not there before. My vehicle is garaged at home. But not at BMW of San Diego! It was obviously parked under a TREE!!!! There was LITERALLY TREE SAP ALL OVER MY vehicle. TREE SAP. TONS OF IT. The guy that pulled it up doesn't even bother to take off the number marker on top of the vehicle. When he removes it, right in front of me, there is a HUGE circular spot left over showing how filthy the car had become in their 'Expert' care. I brought my vehicle in on April 8th, 2019 for a trunk latch that was 'supposedly' covered. This debacle took until the 26th. 18 DAYS. AND IT'S STILL NOT OVER. I thought I was on a hidden camera show. Nope. As I'm driving home, I noticed the dashboard back light was turned off. I always have it set to the highest brightness setting. It has to be MANUALLY adjusted. I turn it on, revealing that there is a warning indicator present that was not present when the vehicle was brought in for service. I drive straight to the car wash because my car is SO INCREDIBLY FILTHY, where an attendant confirms that the rear brake light is no longer working. Instead of fixing my light, which they broke they turn off the brightness of the display. Pure genius. Removing all the tree sap and gunk courtesy of BMW of San Diego cost me an additional $65 at the car wash that I never should have been in a position to pay, and another 2 hours of my time. When I take my car to the Vista location, they wash it every single time. Not to mention, I actually tried to pick up the vehicle previously and literally didn't get help. I ended up driving to the dealership 5 separate times. Realistically probably at least 20-25 hours of my time down the tubes. I call in and ask for the manager by name. I keep getting transferred to someone that keeps telling me his name 'Fernando' of something like that. I couldn't really understand him. It was like I was on a prank call. Unbelievable. Literally hours upon hours of my time wasted for no reason. Avoid this location. The 'waiting area' is a flashback to a Southwest flight. Without the view or the honey roasted peanuts.

    Wouldn't even dare to bring my vehicle there! Scheduled an appointment for inspection due to some issues. Tried to call the Service department prior going there to find out how much I will be charged for the labour per hour. Called 3 times!!! Explaining my situation. Got transferred every single time to different person (talked to 7 people), and none of them could not answer my question. Very dissapointed. In the end, I believe a random mechanic answered my question but before I could thank him, he just hang up on me. So unprofessional and rude.

    Great dealership, once I needed oil and the shop was closed so they went ahead and have me a quart for free, that was un expected And I was very pleased, my advisor is Gary is an amazing guy he has helped me through several issues and even helped me coordinated some insurance stuff which by the way the insurance company made it pain in the butt. Most other advisors will just tell you to bring it in at the expense of 175 with no real assurance but Gary works with me and answers most questions that other advisor wouldn’t go near. He is the real star.
