    I feel I was racially profiled here Came to open an account never had a problem anywhere else opening an account. Gave my form of proof of identity and some how I need a letter proving my address I don't have a utility bill. Also to mention I have a friend that just opened an account with bmo and didn't need anything other than her id and debit card. This bank isn't right. If you aren't white or Mexican or you look different than what they want you will not get an account.

    I've called 500 plus time in the past 5 hours and not one single time did someone answer the phone. There's something WRONG with that !

    I've had an account at this branch for a long time and I've never had a problem, the people have been nice and patient, Lately I've enjoyed their online banking and they have been making their application easier to use. Will keep coming back and have my accounts here.

    Went to deposit my checks Waited in drive thru 15 to 20 min still no service Others were being taken care of that came after me. Teller could clearly see my red van but didnt even Ask me if i needed help. He was rude, in my 25 plus years with harris ive never been treated like this . He went on to tell me that i was wrong because he didnt recieve anything from me. Hard to do when the drawer wasnt pushed out because once again he had not acknowledged me.

    I have been banking with Bmo for a little over 4 years now. I used to love going to the Portage Park location until now. All the tellers and bankers were always on top of their game. GREAT customer service and fast speed until now. The teller service SUCKS BALLS. They do not have enough tellers anymore. They need to hire a manger for the tellers cause nothing is being managed back there. They hired some short blonde girl. Who looks CLUELESS half the time and does not know what she is doing asked her a few questions about my account and couldn't give me a answer. To me all she cares about is looking pretty and being on her phone.

    Both this local branch and the corporate call center are terrible. Their mobile banking app for Android is out-of-date, customer service in 3 calls to the corporate call center is lazy and rude. They sounded as though I was asking them to move the world when I asked for support with a problem with my debit card which led to a transfer to tech support for the app. It was pulling teeth to get the person to help me figure out a setting I changed that turned off my card. They were condescending and seemed annoyed that I was asking for help with an app that was new to me. Further, when I applied online, the website failed, and I had to go to the branch to finish the application. The banker spent most of my time pushing a home equity loan, while I signed the required paperwork. Two weeks later I received a letter, a 21 year old needed to be present to sign for, indicating my account would be closed if the paperwork wasn't received. I called corporate call center, they told my account was fine and I could disregard the notice, it was an automated message. Two weeks later I log into my account and am shocked to see a savings account I do not recognize on my login. I call the call center, apparently they connected my account to another family member's account without my authorization. But, they also told me my recently opened checking account had been closed because they did not get all of the setup paperwork on time. I explained I'd gone to this branch to complete the paperwork and had been told on a previous call everything was in order. They explained it was too late, a check had been sent. 3 weeks later I am still waiting for my check. I've talked to Robert at the branch and aside from empty apologies for the errors they made along the way, I've had no resolution. Side note, I paid off my car with BMO, they sent the title regular mail, in an envelope that read important car documents on the outside. They sent basic account notices via UPS requiring signature, and apparently have sent my tiny check certified mail. Logic is not their thing. I recommend staying as far away from this bank as possible.

    Horrible location! Stephanie the Manager knows nothing about her job. I was at her window and she kept asking the Male teller for help and all these questions about my account. Next time I'll just wait for the tall Male teller since he's the one with all the answers and they only one that can do his job. Customer service has really gone to sh*t.
