They saved my bunny who has ended up being my best friend. The doctor explained every option and asked what I was comfortable doing instead of recommending the most expensive option right away. My bun buns entire care team and follow up team was incredible. Thank you everyone who took care of S’more. Her and I can’t thank you all enough!

Dr. Lerin has been providing therapy to my dog following TPLO surgery, and I've been so pleased with her methods of combining hydrotherapy, laser therapy and acupuncture and her thorough explanations of the process to me throughout. Her bedside manner and customer service are outstanding and I highly recommend her as well as the entire Lakeshore Veterinary Specialists Oak Creek team!

Recommended to me when the regular vet couldn’t fit us in and they were wonderful. It was very busy but the staff was all friendly, kind, and skilled during a very stressful day. Dr. O’Neal was excellent. I hope I never have to go there again but am very grateful to know they’re there in case we need to!

Time stands still here. Have been to the clinic on Silver Spring Dr. 180 degree difference. At the rate we are going our friends dog (who we are dog sitting for) will die of old age here. So SAD to have to write this review. But for the sake of your pet… care and GO ELSEWHERE! I will update if things change. Regrettably: Steve

Extremely disappointed and upset by end of life care for our 16 year old cat. With the exception of one person, the staff were Rude, not friendly or sensitive to how difficult it is to loose a pet. I understand COVID restrictions and the General policy of allowing only 2 people into the clinic is protocol. It was very insensitive and disrespectful to force our family of three (single mom and teen twins) to choose who to exclude from being able to stay with our girl, having to leave one son in the car, alone on his own, and not allowing our kitty to be surrounded by her entire family. The germs of two people and the germs of three people, all from the same family is splitting hairs. Having to euthanize a pet a few years ago, we were aware that they have a place they call “the comfort room” which they used to euthanize pets, and this allows you and your pet to not have to go through this is a cold and sterile room. When they put us in the normal exam room, I requested we be able to use the comfort room. The tech left to ask permission but returned and said we could not use that room because it has carpet and is too expensive to clean. With a nearly $500 euthanasia bill, I’d think they could afford a $30 carpet cleaning bill to clean this the small room per COVID prevention. They refused to provide care in the exam room, separating us from our girl, while they poked and prodded her. A few minutes separation turned into over an hour. For part of this time, we could hear our baby screaming in pain as they attempted to start an IV over and over. I demanded they bring her to us and allow us to be there but was told she was out of control and stressed so this would not be allowed because the staff didn’t want us to be bitten. I would have taken a thousand and more bites if it meant our baby wasn’t forced to suffer alone with strangers with no compassion. I will add, while listening to our baby crying out in pain, we were also forced to listen to two staff talking loudly, laughing, and dropping F*ck bombs left and right as they are discussing a problem with one of their neighbors. Extremely rude, in my opinion. We have utilized this clinic several times over many years and it wasn’t always this way. If our kitty wasn’t already suffering and would have been forced to suffer even more, I would have taken her out of that clinic and to a clinic that showed some respect to families and compassion for their suffering pets. Most definitely, I would not recommend this clinic as I have in the past. Their services and staff have lost touch with the compassionate care we sought for our beloved girl.

I took my dog here to get some tests done for liver enzymy counts, Ultra sound and a needle biopsy and they Vet was amazing. He listened to my concerns and explained everything before hand including the cost. Wasn't the outcome I wanted to hear as he has cancer but he discussed the options with me and since he is 12 I decided to not have surgery and he told me I was making the right decision because they didn't know if they could even get it all because it is in his live and stomach. He told me he isn't in pain and what to watch for when it is him time.

In spite of COVID 19, the staff and vet were exceptional. We waited in our car to hear about the triage process, and it was very thorough. Then the vet was very informative and didn’t pressure us to do unnecessary tests. The results were great. Thank you for your service.

I had to take my pup to see the vet after work hours because she could not open her eyes. With COVID going on and all the other stressors in our lives, that last thing i wanted to do was go take kaya to the vet and not be able to go in there with her. She is my heart and soul. HOWEVER, they made is tremendously easy with their communication/calls/etc while i was waiting in the parking lot. They made this difficult process easier and i can't thank them enough. Thank you for all you do and keeping my beautiful pup safe <3

Dr. Byl and his team took great care of my boy Oreo. They were very thorough in explaining all of his care to me and I'm grateful for their expertise. I'm happy to say Oreo is on the mend now!

At a time when things are very uncertain, it was very nice to be certain of the care and attention our dog would be receiving. Pet emergencies are at the very least, stressful and quite emotional. From the moment we were presented with our options, we were kept in the loop and encouraged to call anytime with questions or concerns. Throughout the process of treatment, release and follow up, we felt as though we were being listened to and supported We are beyond grateful to the staff at Lakeshore in Port Washington for their compassion and commitment to providing the ultimate care for our furry family member.
