The location on 41st kept me on hold for 20 minutes which took me close to closing... so of course my transaction was delayed until the next day. Things like this impact those of us that live paycheck to paycheck do better. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
Hi Steve. Thanks for the feedback and sorry it felt like 20 minutes on hold! We didn't have any hold times quite that long in the day but we know that when you need help, several minutes can feel like an eternity. Certain transactions, specifically ACH and Mobile Deposit, have cutoff times to get them through in the same day, but just about everything done with a teller happens in your account in real-time. We do strive to provide the highest level of service to our members and we hope to have another opportunity to serve you again soon.

Horrible customer service. Went through atm and it gave me a 100 bill (they charge a $2fee for any ATM transaction) Went inside to get change because no one takes a 100 bill. They said they don't give out change because of money laundering. This was the manager talking. Obviously the manager has no idea what money laundering is when it is an excat change transaction. The world will be a better place when financial institutions like this are out of business and the managers are fired.
Hi Jordan. We don't charge fees to members at our ATMs and they are programmed to give 20 dollar bills for a request of $100. Members can also do a transaction with a teller at our machines by touching the screen to get the bills you need. As far as the $2 fee, every ATM owner charges a fee for using their machines and providing money to non-member/customers. Our manager was correct in that we do have plenty of regulatory requirements that we need to follow that limits what we can do for non-members. Sorry it wasn't the experience you hoped for.

If I could give 0 starts I would! Do not ever work with them, especially when it comes to mortgages. We opened a HELOC with them 2yrs ago and it was a disaster from the start. It took almost 60 days to close on that when we were on a timeline for the money and we started the process as soon as we knew the amount we needed, which was almost 3 months prior to needing it. They forgot to have us sign something and wouldn’t email to us, luckily one of the employees lived near us so stopped at our house to sign it. Now a month and a half later after refinancing our house, the HELOC still hasn’t closed and the lien hasn’t been released! I have contacted them 3 times now about this! The first after I noticed the loan wasn’t paid off, come to find out the put they check from the title company into the savings account and placed a hold on it! You do not place a hold on a check from a title company! I was also assured at this time the loan would be closed and the lien would be released. Then I contacted them again a couple weeks later stating the loan was still showing on my credit report, was told again it would get closed. Finally today I called the register of deeds myself to figure this mess out, they still haven’t received anything! If I were to try to sell my house right now, it would be an absolute mess!! I will never recommend them or do business with them again!

I have used several of the locations and every person from the entrance to the loan officers is first class and do a great job . They know my name and help me feel welcome at all times !! 5 stars in my book and the internet banking is superb and second to none .
Thank you for the 5-star rating! We're glad we could meet or exceed your expectations.

I needed a unique loan for the purchase of my home and ERIC ANDERSON from BHFCU not only helped me but made it quick, easy and seamless. I truly appreciate his professionalism and attention to detail. I intend to be a customer for life! Thanks Eric!

My wife and I have been with BHFCU for sometime now. I must say their customer service has gotten terrible. Their loan officers are absolutely rude and have no clue what they are talking about. Will definitely be taking our business elsewhere.

This is a truly great place to bank and I absolutely love doing business with them. The staff is friendly, And there is no waiting and no hassles. I would highly recommend that anybody become a member and start banking here.

Not a bad bank but definitely not on a personal or face to name bank. Almost getting as bad as the big banks. Even starting to out holds on deposits like the big banks.
