Bethpage Federal Credit Union W 26th St, New York

This place is absolutely garbage I had a lease with them and I had to get kicked out of auto pay for my vehicle for no reason and then four months later they told me I’ve never made a payment since I got involuntarily kicked off auto pay and dropped my credit score a lot and they did not help me report to the bureau that it was a mistake call waiting is always over an hour it’s horrible do not under any circumstances finance anything from this despicable bank. Of course I mean the bank itself and the call centers I don’t know anything about the branches

Lots of misguided reviews in here.. complaining about the phone service, location not being open, etc.. thats out of the control for this branch! The Chelsea location re-opened in July 2021, will all staff vaccinated. these are wonderful workers, courteous, quick, responsive, respectful. Space is very clean and welcoming. THAT's what you're supposed to rate! Keep up the great work Bethpage FCU

They are not taking WALK IN’s — you must call ahead to set a appointment up with them .. Smfh drive 3hrs for nada lol

Went here to withdraw money while visiting from out of town. I wanted to take out more than their daily limit at this beach and the employees were extremely helpful in directing my to a fcu branch with a higher withdrawal limit. They even provided me a print out of the address and directions to the correct subway. Very good customer service.

TERRIBLE!!!!! No one answers the phone. Phone prompts not helpful. Just want to pay my car loan on time. UGH!!!!!!

Honestly some great people here and apparently they got a new atm this year!

The customer service with this bank is ridiculous and horrible. I’ve called 4 times today, been placed on hold and when I thought someone picked up my call was dropped. I’m writing this review and I’m still on hold! The level of curtesy and respect for their clients is sad. Who’s running this organization?

I’ve never run into a place that limits your daily amount so much. $800 limit per day total, no matter what action you are trying to do. When I went In to get a certified check for the down payment on my apartment the girl basically gave me a list of other credit unions to try and said they can only do certified checks up to $800 per day. Absolutely rediculous, and terrible customer service. You may want to consider your market. Do you really think people have the time and resources to come in for 4 different days just to get a check for the necessary amount???? Called another credit union which was unfortunately closed at the time, and they told me their certified check limit is $1,000,000. No joke. Good luck retaining customers Bethpage, never again.

Loved it when it was Montauk Credit Union before they merged. Today I was trying to get a money order and find they now limit withdrawals to $800 (even in cash!). Customer service gave me the wrong info on the phone and now rushing around to find another credit union who could help.

I would rate zero 🌟 because i can't access to my card or money. Poor customer service
