BECU credit union Stone Way, Seattle

The employees are very nice, and I've never had anything but a pleasant experience when I go in to talk with them. However, they are unable to help with some basic issues. This branch doesn't have cash so you cannot cash a check. And, there is no way to call the branch specifically, you have to call an 800 number, wait for 15 minutes til someone from a call center answers, and then get transferred. The website is barely usable for me on mobile. EDIT: I just tried to call their 800 number today, and they didn't even put me in a hold queue. Just said to call back later or use the app (which, as previously mentioned, doesn't work on my mobile due to bugs). On the pro side, they are not evil (unlike the big banks) and they don't charge overdraft fees on checking accounts if they can transfer money from a savings account... that is a very nice feature. Also, they reimburse fees from non-BECU ATMs a certain number of times a month.

BECU continues to be the most pleasant credit union ever! Truly excellent service from Tallula. Expect to be taken care of like family, you're in good hands at this BECU. Tallula is a shining example of BECU's philosophy, "people helping people." She helped me complete my auto loan and papers with such patience, and now I'm a first-time car owner! In many instances where she could've been frustrated or irritated, she kept a professional and positive attitude and helped me find solutions. Thank you for caring! So proud to be a member at BECU!

Please do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. Check that was sent in for a car loan hasn't been processed in two and half weeks and payment is about to become delinquent. Per BECU policy, I cannot make a payment online, cannot make a payment over the phone, and cannot make a payment in person at a branch.

Moving to BECU is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and I’m lucky to bank at this branch on Stone Way. Everyone I’ve interacted with here has been so kind, genuine, and genuinely helpful. I love co-ops!

Friendly people, handy location. No tellers as such - you need to use the ATM here for cash transactions. Fine.

This is my preferred branch because they treat me nicely, even when I make mistakes, they are professional.

The best credit union is BECU
