Bear Mountain Pawn & Gun Rena Rd, Van Buren

I have been reading the reviews left in the past and felt I needed to review. Bear Mountain is under new ownership and you should definitely stop in and see the difference. Great selection with fair prices and very knowledgeable, friendly staff. You can't go wrong doing business with Tim.

Bear mountain pawn and gun is great. 1. For one it is a pawnshop which are always cool to look around in even when you are not going to buy anything. But sometimes the prices are ridicules on things but that is to be expected from a pawn shop. This one in particular had some very interesting items and I will be eager to go back once I have some money with me.

I don't know who the previous owner was because I'm new to area, I've been here for a little over a year and bought a couple gun and other things and Tim is good people and treats his customers right and I consider him a friend too. I'd recommend this shop to anyone, their friendly people.

I bought my first shotgun here last year and when I came in to pick it up and pay for it he charged me a lower price than what it was tagged for. Great place.

Low ballers! Real pieces of work! Rude staff! There are other pawn shops that are worth doing business with in Van Buren and surrounding areas. I do not recommend at all and it looks like others don’t as well based on all the other reviews. I review a lot of places and at least give people the benefit of the doubt but not this one.

Only met Tim once but no way is he anything but super friendly and helpful, unlike the apparent old owners. Gave me an unreal deal on a set of clubs and I’m planning on getting a gun soon. Super place to check out!

i will never go here again. The convenience of location is not enough. Constantly low-balling people on prices, Bad attitude from staff. nothing is worse than being treated like trash just because you're in a pawn shop. Advice to owners>> HIRE NEW STAFF WITHOUT STICKS UP THEIR BUMS.<< Returned 4 years later. Still the same attitude. Possibly a front for other ACTIVITIES

They are theifs. I had put 200$ on a gun i was going to buy and had alot of stuff happen where I ended up not being able to buy the gun.. I went back a few months later to get my money back and was told I didn't have any money there.. they kept my money and didn't even give me in store credit.

Every time I try to pawn here I get a looooong winded story of why my item is not worth anything, yet I can drive across town with the same merchandise and have no problems, no long winded story and no hassles. This shop is the worst Low Ballers in Van Buren.

One of the worst pawn shops to deal with pawn something and pick it up the next day but yet still pay the full price of pawn for a month. Seems like there only out to make money instead of getting repeat customers
