    At one point Bayou City was a really great credit union, not anymore. My biggest problem with them is the ATMs. There are only 2 of them. One in the UT building and one in Hermann. You can't access either of them!!! The UT closes the atm at 430 after the bank closes and you can't even get in Hermann to get to the ATM unless you are a patient or an employee due to covid. I called earlier to ask someone about that and the first girl told me I could use any atm. I already knew that, but why would I want to use another atm and pay unnecessary fees when I can I use the atm at the institute that I bank with. She then gave me a number to speak with someone else. I left a voicemail and the lady called me right back. She was very nice and she explained why the atm is locked after leaving. Apparently, the homeless were going into the atm and damaging them. I completely understand that. However, this is an inconvenience to the customers of the credit union. Normal working hours are 9 to 5. How does the credit union suppose you get your money if you are not able to get to the credit union in time? I guess you would have to take off work just to go to the bank to get your money 🙄🙄🙄. You should be able to get off, go to the atm, and get your money stress free, but I digress. It just sucks all the way around.

    The app always has errors, the app is always down, their customer service when addressing the app is horrid. Their customer service in general is egregious. I'm so thankful my sister has the ability to invite me to Navy Federal. I have NEVER banked with a credit union nor a bank as terrible as BCFCU.

    I am currently in the lobby while my husband speaks with the teller. She remembered him by name and then a 2nd teller came out to greet him. Then both tellers stood and greeted me very warmly. This definitely doesn't feel like any bank I've ever visited. This bank felt like an instant relationship. I'd never even heard of them before today but the way they treated us was the best marketing anyone can have. Thank you to Ms. Yuridia and Ms. Kenyada!

    They were helping me “update” my account. I lost 3months of interest. Whoops is all they could say. Now they’re charging my children’s minis accounts for dormant fees and statement fees. Nobody answers the phone. Horrible ethics. THIEVES

    They shutdown on 9/30 to open back up on the 10/4. But did they? App problems? Noone answered the phone? NOway to perform direct deposit so i suppose i am to pay my own NSF fees. Nathan needs to quit before he gets fined

    Horrible customer service. Ali was the only good one and I haven’t seen him. They play with your money. It took 2 weeks for a check from the state to post to my account when it usually takes 24-48 hours. What made me upset is I asked to talk to a manager and Josh said she wasn’t there Less then 5 minutes later I called back and the same guy said “ hold on let me ask my manager. Dear manager, don’t be lazy! Get on the phone and have some customer service. I don’t even need the money right now it’s just the principle of y’all playing with my money.

    Applied for a loan as a Memorial Hermann Hospital employee, they checked my credit score, made it drop seven points but didn't have the courtesy to let me know i wasn't approved, never applying for anything again.

    This place is one of the worst banking I've ever experienced. There have been several bill n payment set for auto withdrawals posted late which fall on me for late fee s n overdraft cause it would say posted yet not post. Also the system is not up to date or speed with transaction which is unfair for the average working person. In my opinion it's set up to rob customers of money in a semiprofessional way. It's always something....

    So i went to credit union today to withdraw money and i have a pass-code on my account because i lost my purse. So i get to the teller and i show her my work ID because that is all i had and didn't remember the pass-code that i set so the teller ask me for the last 4 of my SS i gave it to her. then she said well i looking at your Driver license so this is you but let me see if i can give you the pass-code and she call her supervisor he said no that i could not withdraw any money without a pass-code and that the manger who ever is at lunch at this time so have a seat. So i ask her well how long because im on my lunch as well she said she didn't know . So after i had waited for hour ALI came right in and help me with my problem i left out of the bank with no problem. also I have late coming back from lunch because had to catch the rail. So if you ask me for all that and you looking at my DL and me in person I should have been able to withdraw my money. Very upset knowing that tomorrow is holiday banks are close and I'm waiting on a New Debit card. not to mention been banking since 2012.

    Leaving no stars was not an option. I am so upset with this credit union. This was my 1st credit union, and only joined bc I was advised that my funds would be available a few days sooner. Other than that the customer service is very poor. Like right now the systems are down and I cant even access my account. It says something to the effect of my account cant be found. This really ridiculous! I have had nothing but issues since I joined. I am not happy. Again, the greatest benefit is that you get your funds on wed, instead of Friday. Other than that I would take my work check elsewhere. Come to think of it, I just might have to go back to my old bank. Please dont bring your money to this place.This place is trash. :(
