Bank of the West E Memory Ln, Santa Ana

Small town bank with excellent customer service! With the exception of the manager, (who greets me each time I enter the premises), all of the ladies at this branch have given me exemplary customer service. The teller I most frequently utilize, greets me by name and with a smile. Since we are two generations apart, I appreciate her good manners in that she respectfully refers to my as "Mr. Bell". Thank you Bank of the West for many years of customer service with a home town feel.

Horrible customer service! The teller I got was an older lady who seriously seemed mad at the world. Didn’t want to cash my check because in order to cash a check you have to have more money in the account to cover the amount of the check you’re cashing. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been a long time customer and your account is in good standing, you have great credit, have direct deposit and have cashed the same checks every month.....a simple phone call to verify funds was too much work for her. So rude and such an inconvenience. Thank god there was a Wells Fargo across the street and went there and cashed it no problem! I don’t recommend Bank of The West to anyone! Will be closing my accounts immediately!

Bank of the West is a good place to do business. They have many branches, and this one is accessible from entering the City Place parking lot. There are atm machines located outside the branch and inside, too. But I really did not wait long to see a teller. It was my first time at this branch. They have always been nice and friendly at every Bank of the West branch. This one was very nice also. Most of all, these are professional people at tellers windows. They are sharp, intelligent and get my business done promptly. And I am able to finish fast and go on about my day. That's why I recommend Bank of the West.

It's so unfortunate that this is the closest branch to us. The incompetence is completely staggering. We have gone in several times in the last year for several different issues, relating to bank account access for a parent (where we had the notarized POA), getting access to old statements, recovering numbers, and other issues. Every single time we go in, a teller tells us that they can't help us with [whatever the issue is] at the branch and we need to call the main 1-800 number... and then when we call the BotW main line, the person tells us we have to go to the branch. The last time we were there we were somehow convinced to apply for their credit card for 3% cash back on every purchase. We were told we'd hear back within the week. Four weeks and several unreturned calls later, we finally reached someone who told us we'd been rejected, with no specified reason. He then immediately asked if we wanted to apply for another card. I couldn't believe it. This morning was the straw that broke the camel's back. We went in this last weekend to try looking requesting old statements for a parent's back taxes, and once again the teller told us they couldn't do that at the branch and we needed to call the main number. We call the main number and... the person on the phone told us the branch has to handle that request! We went up the ladder and have reported this branch to Bank of the West for gross incompetence.

I wish I had less than one star so that I can rate this bank. I would not at all suggest any customer to select this bank. I visited branch more than 6 times for my debit card where I opened an account almost a month ago. Tried reaching all the associates including VP of the Bank, Mr. Paul however no one looked really interested to resolve this issue. He promised he will find it out and give me a call back which never received. Really a worst experience.

LeAnn sue and Ana are the best, I absolutely love the close one on one personal attention you get here when I walk in the girls know me and greet me by name when I have an issue I can call the girls and it's fixed or resolved by the time I hang up I'm now having all my employees now open there accounts here for direct deposit. I actually travel from Fullerton to Santa ana to do all my banking because I love how great they are and they give all there customers the same love and know all there clients by name.

Wow! This center has a very rude security guard who followed my disabled fiancée into another store to tell her to move her car from a legal parking spot! With her handicap placard in plain view.

Great bank and good interest rate on business loans. I don't use it as personal bank, just for business. Customer service is excellent.

Great Customer Service and Customer Experience; they always help and treat everyone very happy!

I really regret getting a bank loan from this company, don't make the same mistake I did!!!!
