Always a good banking experience here. Book appointment online. Sign in and go. Judyth was a pleasure to work with and manages my accounts well.

    Response from the owner

Needed to send a wire transfer re a family member need. Could not make an appointment within the BA system, so went without and was helped by Lynnette Yakinehuk ( who was doing a substitute stint out of the Palm City branch ) and within 10 minutes the entire process and a record thereof was completed. Lynnette knew the process, was a pleasure to work with, and could not have been more helpful. Typical of my experience at this branch, by the way.

Drive-up service has been replaced with 24hr ATM service - and ATM was down, which leaves just 1 ATM Update to 1 star - Came on a Friday morning and the bank was closed, none of the three ATMs were working, front door was locked. Was told “phones & power were out” go to another location. Perhaps a backup generator would be a good idea... or banking elsewhere.

This is the worst bank ever. I’ve been a member for 23 years, I’m a platinum member and they treat me and my funds like garbage. They hold cashiers checks for ten days after lying and saying the funds wil be available next day. This is just ONE example of many on how awful this bank is and how horribly they treat their customers. I’m beyond disgusted and disappointed in the constant inconsistencies this bank operates from. Go anywhere else but here, this bank is AWFUL AND TREATS THEIR CUSTOMERS HORRENDOUSLY!!!!!!!! If you want a bank you can’t trust, that changes rules as they go along, that lies to your face, you should bank here at B of A The ONLY great thing about this bank is the manager Phil on cove road. He deserves a raise or better yet a career with a much better banking institution.

I waited in the drive in line for over a half jour (that is once I got my turn!) to DEPOSIT a check from Charles Schwab... quite reputable.. waited and waited as staff (one guy, as other employees visibly wandered about) went to help counter customers inside. FINALLY he came back and said they couldn't find the Charles Schwab check he gave it back to me and said "big companies just make checks that aren't ready"??? It was a deposit. I just moved here recently from Chicago...no wonder the local reviews about B of A are awful!!! I will close my account

Seems like the drive thru is closed more often lately. Then when you go inside the lines are long. Very frustrating going to bank just to get change and have to wait over 20 minutes just to get change for work and our company has payroll through bank of America. Need to make a better effort to have drive through available or have more help when having to go inside.

We have been a customer of Bank of America since the mid-1980s in Carmichael California. When we moved to Hobe Sound Florida in 1999, we considered moving our accounts to the Cove Road branch. However, once we started the Cove Road branch, we found the customer service at that particular location to be lacking. We wanted to stay with BofA because we had used Home Banking since it's inception and had all our accounts and payment processes set up. Plus, BofA has branches everywhere and we did a lot of traveling and access was important. But the Hobe Sound branch has continued to be lacking in customer service nearly every time we used the branch. In fact, because of that ongoing experience we started moving much of our business elsewhere, including TD Bank and iTHINK Financial. My experience today was typical. I entered the branch to deposit cash I had taken from the ATM for vacation, cash I didn't use. I entered the bank and was 2nd in line in the teller line. There were two tellers at the windows, plus about 8-10 other employees all around the back. Then 1st teller was waiting on a customer, the 2nd seemed busy doing something else. The customer at the 1st teller took awhile, but finally finished, and person in front of the waiting line proceeded to the 1st teller and started their transactions. The 2nd teller continued to work on something but never acknowledged the line. In the meantime, a line started to form behind me. When the 1st teller finished and customer departed, I started toward that window, but the 1st teller started to leave and told me to go back to the line, that the 2nd teller would help me, then went to the back of the bank. The 2nd teller never looked up. A customer arrived at the drive-up and the 2nd teller moved over to the drive-up window and started working with that new customer, so there was no one working the bank windows inside, even though the line was growing and there were several bank employees walking around the entire time. After being first in line for nearly 10 minutes I gave up, walked out, and went to the BofA branch at US1/Kanner Hwy to complete my transaction. The US1/Kanner Hwy branch is smaller and had fewer employers, but several of them acknowledged me and other customers as we entered, and completed my transaction promptly. Had the experience at Cove Road branch been unusual this would not have been an issue, but such has been my experience many times over the years. This reminded me just why have continued to leave my BofA bank accounts in California and move all other accounts (auto, home, loc) at TD Bank and others. I do not recommend the Cove Road BofA branch.

Horrible service from the manager Robin Graves. Have been a customer of Bank of America for over 10 years. I have multiple different accounts with BOA between my various entities and have always been treated with kindness and respect until going to this Bank of America on Cove rd. in Stuart. I use echecks by (deluxe checks) to deposit my income which in 2020 is not unheard of. These are checks that I have been using for over 5 years. She refused to deposit the checks and out loud telling me she can't approve my checks as if they were fraud for all the customers to hear (extremely humiliating). Instead of calling to verify the checks using the number on the checks and also verifying my account with all of the other echecks I have deposited in the past she refused to do so and told me if she needed to get them approved I would need to wait 2 hours until she can speak with corporate. I was not about to wait 2 hours to make a long story short I drove up the road to another BOA off of Kanner Hwy and they verified the checks with no issue.

My aunt, a Bank of America customer passed away in March. At that time you froze her accounts. I had to take $7000 out of my own money to pay her funeral expenses. There also many bills piling up for her end of life medical care. Her will has been through probate, funds deemed to executor of her estate (which is me). I Have sent the letter, judgement signed by the court and death certificate to the bank, been assigned a case manager and spent in excess of 5 hours collectively over the past 3 weeks trying to gain access to money that the court has already appointed mine. I get put on hold, cut off, transferred to someone else, put on hold again! Your statement above that this bank “stands ready to support me” is not only false, it’s a complete joke!! And don’t try to blame covid. The court system was held up the same as every other bank and business and it took less time to go through probate than it has to access money that the court has adjudged to be mine! I am grieving and trying to get this taken care of. I have children at home, and parents who are in failing health and don’t have time for this!!! I have called the elder law/estate attorney this morning. And will filing a formal complaint with BOA. By the way another aunt passed away the same week. I am all they had. And I haven’t had any issues with her bank releasing her accounts. Bank of America is the absolute worst bank I have ever dealt with! I wish there was a ZERO STAR option. I only gave you one because it was the only way I could write this review
