I opened my account with them when it was a totally different bank, back when I was 16. Bank of America bought them out, and for a long time they were fine. But they have become the WORST bank in the last five years. I have problems with depositing checks ALL THE TIME. With the app, with the staff, you name it. I could write a book on the number of errors and mistakes they have made, which they have made the customer suffer for. Go to a different bank--you'll thank me.

Awesome experience for opening a new account! Since I'm relatively new to the bank environment and I've never created a bank account before, my bank assistant, Mario Amaral, who I really recommend, he helped me processed all the complicated items with a great patience. Moreover, after a week later, he helped me solved the apple pay issue from my bank account. I would say "FIVE STARS" is really worth for their service!

Hands down the worst bank I have ever dealt with. BOA I WASTED MORE THAN 7 YEARS with them to close my account because I’m not a citizen, without any prior notifications. When I went to their branch, asking why my account got closed, the agent with a very racist tone said that your not a citizen and there is nothing proves that you are LEGAL in the states and that no other bank will Open an account for you. Knowing that back then I had a full time job, my work permit hasn’t expired and was in the process of obtaining my green card. An hour after that I was able to open a new account with Chase Chase, to BOA AGENTS get you facts right, your racism only fly inside the walls of BOA. After closing both my credit card and debt card, it took me 4 month almost to get my cash reward money back. They refused to give me MY OWN MONEY for 4 month straight. Bank of America you and your customer service should be placed in the nearest trash.

This is not an issue with the branch. The Bank. Bank Of America SUCKS. They deserve to die. Anybody who works here should quit. Anybody with an account here should transfer their funds. It's been a huge mistake opening an account here. Cannot get help with anything, ever. You'll be transferred to such and such department for help, who will transfer you to another. After your 4th transfer, when you think you are close... You are right back where you started. If you have an account with the branch, you wont be doing business with the branch. You will be doing it with the phone robot, as they have little authority to do anything at the branch. Also, this isn't an issue of "Lets set a company objective to cut hold times in half by 2021 :)!" Its "Lets clean house and completely restart with a new name and move the company to Mexico". P.S. nothing against Mexico but I don't want this company in America anymore so you guys have to deal with it. Maybe having BofA in Mexico will help trump with his wall agenda?

Many years ago I moved my business accounts to a local bank, for very good reason - lack of customer service with even more appalling lack of even caring what their customers think about them or are treated. Today I had the unfortunate need to go there to cash 3 checks written ON the B of A. They charged $8 per check, in spite of it being from one of their "customers", who happens to be closing his account for the same very reasons. The "receptionist" or whatever the woman they have in that position is nothing if not rude and condescending, and I can't imagine a much worse person to be the one that is first point of contact when one goes into the bank. It reminded me well of why I left that bank many years ago, when they made a promise of "Beating my credit card rates or we'll give you $500." Which it turned out they could not do and of course did not do, and refused to give me the $500 promised after I spent close to 10 hours providing them with documentation they asked for. This is after me telling them I had a very good rate already, that I KNEW they couldn't beat - but it was "We'll pay you $500 if we can't." I went up the ladder as far as humanly possibly, only to be told no $500. I had 2 mortgages with them - the only blemish on my credit in 20 years is because the mortgage went up by $4, and they waited until the 25th of the month to return the check to me with zero notification that it was coming back, so I got the only late mortgage payment of my lifetime. Would they do anything to help me with the credit bureau? "We don't do that." They cared less about ruining/blemishing a perfect credit score of over 815. As quickly as I could I moved my 2 mortgages to a REAL local bank, Citizens Bank, who have treated me like Gold. As well as my business accounts, both checking, savings, CDs, HSA Accounts - about 9 or 10 accounts in all, not counting the mortgages. I hope I never have to enter that darkened door again. This being a big nationwide bank, one would hope on a local level they would try harder to impress locals - but it just means they have a bigger victim pool. I feel for anyone who makes the mistake of choosing Bank of American Corvallis for their local finances. Or worse yet, a business account, which is where my negative experiences all began around 24 years ago. It isn't just that incredibly rude "person/woman" that directs traffic in there (the small "desk" n the left as you enter - I wish I knew her name and will try to get it), it goes deeper to procedures and practices, and if I'm being screwed by a bank, I'd at least like to be lulled by niceness, which you will NOT find in this bank. I HIGHLY recommend you go to a REAL local bank, and not a conglomerate that needed billion$ in taxpayer bailouts just to continue mistreating customers. I wish they would be failed like any real business would have. Do yourself a favor and look further than Bank of American for any banking needs - there are real LOCAL banks who will treat you like a member of the community they live in and care about. Ayyyyy it's a party over here. Currently on the phone with Bank of America and they are closing three accounts that I have with ZERO communication as to why. Every time I go into the bank reps are impressed by the account status and the account funding and throw accounts at me. They somehow were able to give me services like having a credit card without a social security number, asking to open various accounts, and even a lock box and a key for what reason? I don't know, but I took it. I'm more so stuck dealing with their mistakes. I hate hearing the word business decision because they are stating that as to why they don't want the money that I have been throwing at them for the past 6 years. Currently, my lawyer and I are drafting a report that shows all these issues and concerns that will be addressed in the United States Federal Court as this thread only validates my concerns and reasons as to why this is unjust and a real concern that we all should be aware of. Unethical practices do not fall on the customer because they choose to take the narrative in another direction and blame ME the CONSUMER. BankOfAmerica you are fraudulent and unethical nonetheless. My money can go elsewhere but you treating the people of this country who did business with you unfair and unjust. Save yourself from the reply and ask me to send a message to do nothing at the end of the day. My records prove my case and have all been filed and documented just like you have.

Bank of America in Corvallis has mostly nice employees who apologize for the abusive policies and practices of the bank. It is infuriating to try to call the bank, and be forced to listen to a lot of irrelevant drivel before being given the opportunity to speak to someone. Corporate policies need to be reviewed with an eye to what services are offered by the competition. Only because my wife refuses to close our accounts do I still deal with B of A.

I went to cash a 2nd m9ney order from my mom. They did not want to do it. Then they said it was over there limit. Meanwhile my mom lives in los angeles its not like i could js send it back. She called tbem they said i could open an acount so i went back they denied me an account without even getting my name. Which ididnt care cus i already knew BofA was a pos. Long story short i took the money to another more local bank.

Came into the bank. Nobody cares. I saw an employee sitting idle in his cubicle, but did not bother to ask. Earlier a couple of months before there used to be a lady manager who was very good and developed customer relations well. Now this bank has become totally unfriendly to customers. I never suggest this branch.

Customer service is great. Parking can be challenging as the spaces are small. If you have to drive your Monster Trucks to this bank, please aim straight when parking your ego vehicles so others can use the adjacent spaces.
