Bank of America (with Drive-thru services) N Richmond Rd, Mchenry

Absolutely the worst bank ever. They are constantly closed! Even now, when I go there during their limited posted hours, I get there and they are closed. All through the pandemic when it would have been advantageous to have the drive up service open, they shuttered their doors and only had ATM service. They have made it impossible for people to cash a check, or pay your credit card. I am closing my credit card account here and moving to a bank that actually serves it's customers.

Had a terrible experience here. Came in looking to arrange a private party auto loan. I was put in the office with a young girl who was not polished at her job at all. She was reading off the screen and didn’t seem to have much experience at all or really know what she was doing. They took basic information from me and did not discuss much about this specific type of loan and what my options were. They were no help. They asked me multiple times about if they provided excellent service. When we were done, her manager came in and asked me nothing about the loan process and only cared to get a review for the girl I worked with. They cared more about getting reviews than getting a loan secured for me. I went to a local bank and they have been 10x more professional. I will never give this bank my business.

Every time I come here no matter what time of the day it is they are closed. So I go up to the ATM and it’s temporarily out of service. My debit card was shut off so I have no way of getting money . I am always having to drive out to the Crystal Lake location which is a complete inconvenience. There were three other people at the bank trying to get in while I was there and they were call telling me their stories about why they can’t stand this bank and they want to close their accounts. Two of the people standing outside said that this happens all the time when they come here if this bank is never open. Poor customer service.

Bank of America is AWFUL, prehistoric. Edit: Your social media team is of ZERO help, too.

I open my account here in Bank of America the customers service is updating there game. There super nice and understanding. I open my account here because my old bank that I had it’s sucks. I love the new features there savings account goals I never been see this bank do that, I think it’s very cool to have a goals starter to motivate you to save and accomplish your budget goals. They step in there game kudos BOFA!! Keep the wonderful customers service and keep the Customers happy!

Slowest tellers on Earth. Prepare to be here 30+ minutes for a simple transaction. They generally have 1-2 people running the lobby & drive up. And their hours 9-4 mon-fri make it impossible for working people to get in for in person transactions.

Corporate doesn’t care about this location. RUN. You’re going to hate this location. In this area you shouldn’t give them business. They don’t care, so why should we? It’s not like staff has control?

Called the branch multiple times over the past few days during business hours and no one picks up. If you want to fail as a business during Covid times, follow Bank of America's lead!

I waited 15 minutes in the drive thru today trying to pay a credit card bill. The 2 tellers kept helping the customers in the bank and never helped me. I counted numerous walk ins that were taken before me that walked into the bank after I pulled up. Ridiculous & very poor customer service.

This is the company which refuses to take responsibility for the demolition and cleanup of the home at 4510 Parkway in McHenry which was destroyed by fire back in early March of 2013. A little girl lost her life in that fire and neighbors cannot have closure while the charred rubble remains. Although BOA took possession of the property in late April, it has willfully and heartlessly neglected to act. Tell Bank Of America what YOU think of this cruel dereliction of the public trust.
