    This particular branch Stereotypes people of color and freezes their account when they believe someone shouldn't or couldn't have a certain amount of money. Long story short my husband and I were anticipating our tax refund on 2/24 which we did receive on 2/24. We paid some bills took care of some online things all with NO issues no flags no nothing. My brother passed and his funeral is 2/26 He went back into the bank to retrieve OUR funds and once my husband told the teller MARIA the amount she began to act weird as if someone like my husband couldn't possibly be withdrawning that amount of money. She then said it would need to be verified which we had no problem with the verification was sent and he withdrew the funds. We leave the bank to shop for the funeral return home to seven missed calls. It was Maria calling telling my husband he needed to come back as his deposit from the IRS was fraudulent. They go back and forth as she demands with another employee to bring the money back or else. He tells her he will call the fraud department and ends the call. He called the fraud department which informed him the account had been frozen. After going in circles they finally confirmed that the block was put on AFTER we left this branch! So as we suspected Miss Maria felt like since we were black we had something fishy going on even AFTER verifying at the bank. Now here it is my husbands account is frozen while he is grieving his brother and attempting to help out with funeral services!!! We were fine all morning making our payments online not one problem or flag! To add injury to insult my husband was being fitted for a suit so he was unable to answer his phone so Maria felt it necessary to use her personal cell phone to call his personal cell three times!! After reading several other reviews this sounds like a common issue at this branch! Maria and the other bankers withhold peoples funds based off how they feel about their skin!! As soon as this account is unfrozen we're done with this bank and will be taking ALL the necessary steps to let BOA corporate and everyone else know this is the type of employees they have controlling peoples money! We have ALL the proof from the IRS that our deposit was indeed NOT fraudulent!!!

    Been standing in line for nearly 45 minutes. A line of people that literally goes out of the door to the outside. Two tellers working, but one was doing commercial deposits while the other teller worked with people whom were actually in the building. Why not work with the people who are actually in person first and work on drop offs when it slows down? Perhaps a manager could act as a teller when it gets busy. This place has always been slow but today was the worst. Actually, it’s been an hour in line. Was my only chance to go to the bank this week. Awesome lunch break

    Bank of America is a well-known bank in the United States of America What makes it so is the people who work in it..very wonderful people, especially Mr. Marwan was very wonderful. I wish him and the rest of his team success and lasting success 🌹🌹

    Staff has little knowledge of who their bank works. They do NOT give the correct information at this branch. Stay away from this branch. Horrible customer service we will be closing our account with them asap.

    Went to this particular branch and tried to cash a check. They told me that it had to be “verified” and that nobody in the bank can do it and the place was empty. Went over to the jungermann branch and they cashed it instantly no problem. When I mentioned “verifying” the check the people looked at me confused, had no clue what I was talking about. These people at this location will go out of their way to not help you.

    I’ve been with them for 33 years and opened another checking account. I deposited a paycheck and they put a hold on the entire amount. Even though they gave me documentation from their branch that said the funds would be released sooner. The teller said there is nothing we can do and to step aside or they will call someone who will make me step aside. I said really your going to call the police on me? I’m glad that Bank of America has shown me early how they treat their customers. I will be withdrawing the money and closing the account. To think I was considering having my brokerage account transferred to Bank of America Merrill Lynch

    My family has been Banking here for over 30 yrs and I have finally had enough of their service fees, uppidy attitude and lack of customer service. I should have left when they closed the drive up banking windows or when they began to take me for granted or when they refused to help me with my online banking queries. Now, I also have bonds with Bank of America that pay a handsome interest. But I wonder for how long? People tend to get wise to this kind of behavior and before long such co's tend to go by the wayside ; In closing my final comment: JUST WHERE DO THEY GET OFF USING THE NAME OF OUR COUNTRY IN THEIR CORPORATE NAME: IT SHOULD BE NAMED "BANK OF GREED"

    The branch is awesome. The best service I have had. Many times the service has been 110%. Best to make an appointment first or call ahead. Not fair to expect fast service if you didn’t make an appointment. Use the web to make an appointment it’s easy. Everyone has always been extra friendly an gone out of their way.

    My husband and I walked in around 3:30/5 to make a small change to our joint account - updating the account from my maiden name to my new married name. We stood for a few minutes at what is normally the check-in desk and received no help. The desk was not manned. Finally my husband flagged down the one banker that was working and asked her where we should be waiting. She told us to get signed in with one of the tellers and she would be with us after. We waited for one of the tellers only to have her let us know that we couldn’t get in with the banker today. It was not even 3:45 and the bank didn’t close until 4. We were very annoyed that the banker didn’t just tell us straightforward and honestly that she had no time to meet with us and instead directed us to wait and get turned away by the teller. Also, if the bank is only open from 9- 4 (when most people with normal working hours cannot come in), they should be operating fully staffed to meet all their customers’ needs until the bank closes at 4. My husband left work early because he had to be there for us to make this change to the account. Now we will have to wait for weeks until there’s another time we can both be there during banking hours. Just a super irritating experience!
