This branch really needs to close. Wrong information was provided and now I am fined with $300. When we visited back in September a woman named Reshma Khan said the safe box was not found. Because my parents were moving out of the country for good, we asked her multiple times if we have to take any actions to close the safe box account and she said the box is already drilled. I now received a letter with the fine of $300 for not paying the renewal fee for 2022. When we visited again, the only thing Reshma Khan could say was sorry. No, saying sorry does not wave $300. She needs to be fired.

I went in to notarize a title transfer. The notary I worked with was incompetent, rude, and unprofessional. She directed me to sign in the wrong location which I unthinkingly did and then immediately questioned if this was the right location. She insisted I was incorrect and chastised me when I started to check the other sections on the back of the title. She asked why it would be there, condescendingly told me to read the front, and then asked if I wanted her to read it aloud for me. When I did read and confirmed this was not the correct section of the title, she replied irritatedly, "whatever you want". I don't expect BoA staff to be experts in title transfers, but I do expect professionalism. The notary was bizarrely combative and hostile.

The lady who sits two desks on the left as you entered the branch is rude and not knowledgeable. I came in with an issue that my account is suspended from online payment on ALL three of my credit cards. She explained to me that BoA NEVER let you have the option to make payment on credit card and that I must initiate it from my checking account at another bank. I explained to her that is not true but she insisted. She is totally clueless on how the online banking works. I asked to talk to a manager, and she went in for a few minutes. She came out to clarify the matter. She then told me that she was mistaken and told me that I can paid online but only though and iPad or a laptop/desktop. I call her out on that too. Obviously, she doesn't know how the whole online banking at BoA work and just making up random stuff. I got frustrated with her lack of knowledge about how her own bank works. I am closing all my accounts with BoA and go somewhere else.

Horrible Horrible customer service. Needed papers notarized. Called bank they said to come on over at 10:30. Arrived on time as requested. Only to find the only person that can notarize was busy with another customer. We were told to have a seat and wait 20 - 30 mins. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. You schedule us then tell us we have to wait up to 30 minutes!! We left and went elsewhere. So much for being a Prefered Customer! Got us nothing!

I have never seen this of customer service at Bofa before. I was told to wait until the next associate is available as they were helping other customers and they said it would take around 15-20 minutes maximum, however; it took me an hour waiting on the couch with no one to assist. Two of the employees were helping one customer for a long time together!!! While I was waiting other customers came after me and sat next to me and one of the employees from the office kept on coming and saying to the new customers that came after me, if they want water and that they will be helped in 5 minutes!!!! I sat there for more than an hour and left to another branch. I got helped with no issues very fast. I’m never going back there.

Have been trying to get into my safe deposit box for days without success. B of A advises to make an appointment by going to a website about safedeposit. However, the website takes you to a site to make an appointment but not to access my safe deposit box. Terrible service.

They are the reason that I won't use Bank of America.... There are no such a thing called service. If seven of us were waiting about 20mins for one teller out of the whole bank. ( ... And some of people just giving up.). This is not the first time. I have to be here every month for the past two years. No improvement ... Nothing!! At least some other branches have provided more help and value the customer. ( Do I have to leave a star? ).

Me and my mom went to deposit money. The lady who helped us was really rude and have zero knowledge of customer service. She asked us why we fold our money in a very rude way. I mean people who works in tips can’t have nice, unfolded money. She needs to learn some customer service. Never going back there. Really disappointed....

I walked in today to cash a payroll check. I was met my Rude, Inept, and Arrogant. Each of these 3 was unable to come up with the correct answer. First Rude told me she'd have to have her manager look at the check since I don't have an account with B of A (gee, I wonder why?). Then Inept finally came over and snatched the check and walked away. After a few minutes handed me and my check off to Arrogant who smirks and states, you can't cash this check, it's dated tomorrow. Um, yes, I can! Post-dating a check is not a limitation to cashing a check. check this link consumerfinance.gov/ask-… So, I took my check, left Rude, Inept, and Arrogant and went to another equally unpleasing BofA to cash it without issue. Just a heads up, why are you considering banking here? Banks are for profit institutions and do not care about you or your money. Switch to a credit union, you will be so happy! In this day and age of e-deposits, mobile banking, and apps, there is no worry about needing a branch. If you live in Fairfax County, you automatically qualify for Apple Federal. Leave banks where they belong, in the past!! You are smart, capable, and full of choices. Take your money to a place where they will treat you and your money as a valuable commodity!!
