I made an in-person appointment 2 days before meeting with a banking employee. I arrived on time and checked in with an employee 'A' that walked around with a tablet. Roughly 5 minutes later, I was told I can either talk to a bank teller or an employee behind the desk who was on his/her lunch break (10 minutes wait) - let's call that employee 'B'. Realizing that 10 minutes wasn't an issue and wanted the feeling of anonymity, I went with waiting. Roughly 10-12 minutes later (after the 10 minutes wait), no update from employee A on employee B's return from his/her lunch break. I saw the employee A was talking to another employee regarding a matter not related to my visit, I went up and ask employee 'A' when was employee 'B' back from his/her break. Eventually, I was able to meet with employee 'B' regarding my account, though he/she needed help navigating my account information through another employee who was around the entire time. Definitely unprofessional on employee A's end.

I wish i could them a -ve rating. They are extremely non responsive and slow. I tried to get an associate on the phone to enquire about a request to get my safety deposit box open and every time there was no response and I had to drive to the location to speak to someone. I wish they either change the management or close the center

Went in because my card wasn’t letting me withdraw money kept saying issue so I went inside and the person who helped me which was an older lady was very rude didn’t even let me finish on why I had to come in didn’t help at all she just said the card declined I continued to tell her how I have a balance on this card so I wasn’t sure what was happening and she said if I would like someone to show me how to find my balance as if I didn’t just tell her how much I had , I walked out called costumer service which I found out my card was locked due to suspicious fraudulent activities! Am pretty sure if she wanted to she would have been able to help me more instead of being rude and dismissive . .

I am customer for BofA since a long while. I have great relationships with other financial institutions also. To begin with, the location is great. I recently physically visited location and manager sucks big time. I politely walked away, went to another location and same issue all taken care of, which speaks for itself !! There are tons of issues per experiences: (a) The staff is very inexperienced with customer treatment, obviously is the worst. (b) Biased service based on ethnicity. (c) Manager unwilling to be really helpful - we are talking about solving issues and not just smooth talking only. (d) Do not care of customer reviews or feedbacks. I sincerely wish BofA management, customers, shareholders and others look at ongoing agony issues at this location asap. == updated after seeing response: I am so baffled to see worst response and reach you via social media, oh my ! What do you mean meeting my expectations, really ? What about meeting your own expectations ? I got helped promptly and mission accomplished from another branch nearby after I was chased out of your branch (Look at your camera and computers for proof). Does that not say anything at all ? We are not talking about smooth talking here, but real actions and customer results, right ? Don't you ever feel customer pain or go extra-mile ? Don't you have mercy or courtesy to listen to issues and try to resolve them ? I understand being well paid is one thing, but being a genuine human beyond a day job is simply priceless.

After waiting in line outside the bldg for an hour, I finally got inside where the teller and the teller manager (asian female) told me that they don't cash unemployment checks (Ca EDD). The manager said BoA only cashes Federal checks, NOT State checks. They would only cash my check if I had an account with BoA, even after I told her that another BoA branch in the city cashed my last EDD check without question. So then I said, in that case, I'd like to open an account with the check, to which she immediately answered, "Then have a seat right there and a banker will help you in about 45 minutes to one hour." I left and drive to another branch nearby (East ridge location) where after another one hour wait in line, they gladly cashed my check without hesitation. Clearly she was not present or just not paying attention at the meeting where everyone was informed that BoA is to honor Ca EDD checks for cashing, with or without a regular BoA account.

This branch bites the big one. Despite the 12 person out-the-door line, the bank refuses to hire more tellers. Save yourself the frustration and stop by a branch more equipped to provide decent customer service.

This branch believes in doing fraud. I was given the travelers credit card on the basis that I will not have to pay minimum due for one year and there would be no interest for one year! The woman who gave me this card should be fired along with the manager!

I have been coming here for a very long time because it is the closest Bank of America to my house. There is always a very long wait but I normally put up with it just fine. Today however on Sat it crossed my bottom line. The security guy refused to let me queue up because I was literally 1 minute late. They close at 1pm, so 1:01pm is not good anymore. I am closing my BoA account on Monday. It's good thing Chase in San Jose is open on Sat until 4pm. BoA just lost another customer because let's face it, it was my fault to be late 1min.

So many negatives about this bank. First off if you want to keep your hard earned money then this Bank is not for you. They do charge $12 maintenance fee for your checking each month. Not a good way to start off. Better open a credit union account besides BOA. Closed my account after seeing the maintenance fee every month. Their customer service is good but lacking sensibility. That would be second. Third, in a time of covid-19 and being self aware of your surroundings this place gets a flat ZERO. For you to close your account or make changes they will verify your ID and ask to remove your mask. This greatly increases your chance of catching something in a confined space with so many people going in and out. I protested but to make the change I did remove my mask for a brief second. Those seconds could have turned out to be the worst seconds in my life. I asked for the manager and informed her that what they did or their guidelines is lacking. It puts peoples lives at risk by momentarily removing their mask. They could have asked series of questions about my account and I would have been more than happy to answer questions. Bottom line. If you want more of your money then this bank is not for you. If you want to keep your sanity and health a priority this bank is not for you. Everyone else is better off anywhere else than bank of america
