I came here to get out specific denominations of cash, something that should take like 5 minutes. My teller was a little patronizing and slow. But the thing that made me really uncomfortable was the woman in front of me (AAPI) in line told the staff she wanted to open a bank account for her son (a minor). They said OK! And let her wait in line. Then, a white woman comes in with her daughter and sort of bucks the line by standing to the side and making a big stink. She said she wanted to open an account for her daughter, they said all the bankers are fully booked today and she had to go online to make an appointment. She said “I’ve tried calling every Bank of America in Irving and no one answers their phones.” So one of the tellers offered to help her open one, effectively cutting 3 people in line (some of whom, like I mentioned, were waiting for the same service). AFTER ALL THIS and after like 20 minutes of waiting, a staff member returned to the AAPI woman and let her know she couldn’t open an account without her son present. I’ve never heard of this rule and can’t find it anywhere online, and also wonder why they waited like 30 minutes to tell her this, conveniently IMMEDIATELY after they let someone cut in front of her to receive the precise same service. Felt very much like an “oh no, we have to save some face” moment. Also, there were other bankers walking around chatting with people who could have helped either of them, instead of one of the tellers going out of commission and letting the line back up (most of us came in close to an hour before closing, and left close to closing). Combine this with reduced hours, I’d say this branch is understaffed and poorly managed. I go to BoA branches all around the country for work and honestly this was the worst time I’ve had.

Eight and a half years using this branch, and every week there are more customers and less tellers available. Incredibly disappointed at the increasingly slow service and inability to adapt to customer demand. Will likely be finding a new bank in coming months as this is a consistent issue across all Bank of America locations.

Horrible, Horrible, HORRIBLE!!!! As soon as I arrived I said hello only to be ignored by the lady with black hair sitting at a teller window, she then rudely asks me what I want, I asked to speak with a specialist and she DEMANDED I tell her why, again, quite rudely!!! Then she tells me to come back tomorrow because they will close in 10 minutes! She refused to service me, if the bank says they close at 4:00 you should stick to the schedule, not dismiss customers 10 minutes before, and specially the way that lady did it! Absolutely unacceptable, the worst customer service! They should do something about this issue! I wish I'd taken her name, she was a middle aged woman, with dark hair, probably Greek or middle eastern, I'm assuming. Regardless, she was RUDE!

I went into this bank for a relatively simple transaction and it was everything but. There was only one teller working at the time so everyone who came in had to wait for a long period. When I approached the window, she was asking for the same documents twice and didn’t seem to be able to follow the flow of conversation easily. Though she was a teller, she actually had no idea how to process the transaction that I asked for and had to repeatedly ask for help. She was very nice but the entire process was completely inefficient and a waste of time. I ended up going to a bank down the street and completing the transaction in 10 minutes total, after having wasted over 30 minutes in this branch because they do not know how to complete simple financial transactions.

Had a appointment at 3:30, didn't get me and my wife into a office until 3:50, Jon who "helped us" didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. Whats the point of having an appointment if you are gonna be 20 minutes late.......

Terrible customer service from one lady in particular. I brought my stimulus check and asked if she can cash it then deposit it so I can have the money today for rent and she’s says they can’t cash a stimulus check at all it has to be deposited...when I got home I found out I could go to a grocery store that has a money center and just cash it there but too late. She could have simply said since you need it today you can go to a grocery store, that’s what anyone would do considering it’s “customer service” I don’t know her name but I went in today 3/29/20 around 2pm.

The representative from my customer service call recommended speaking with a representative from my local branch. I made an appointment at the local branch, only to be told that I need to call the customer service number. I am currently on hold with their automated system with a 17 minute wait time. While the branch members at this location have always been polite and friendly, I have been unable to reach any real solutions in person during the entire time I have been a customer. I am thankful to be switching to a new bank where my questions are always answered promptly and any concerns are resolved effectively.

Apparently this branch is well known for negative scores, but until you change the horrible customer service that was provided by the bank manager then the tone is set. This was the worst banking center experience I have ever gone through. You have to make an appt but this is what’s going on instead of opening new accounts

Most useless Bank of America Financial Center in the Irving - DFW area. The service is extremely slow as only one teller works there and 5 of the other booths are empty. The older lady who works as the teller is extremely rude to customers. Managers are incompetent especially the Hispanic Lady who works there. They need to do a better job if they plan to operate in a lucrative area such as Las Colinas!

I have an account with this bank for the past 15 years, I feel The management expects too much from tellers and they push them hard. The tellers are wonderful but Bank of America needs to change their ways. I have not felt good walking in to any Bank of America branches in the past 5 years or so. I usually have deposits only, long wait times and tellers don't seem to bear the smiles, it seems like they are unhappy working there.
