During these Covid months it has been difficult to go in person to my local Bank of America so I drove to Rancho Bernardo and was greeted by Phillip Sacharow. He immediately helped me to retrieve the papers I needed and sincerely apologized for the delays as a result of some temporary closures due to staff being impacted by Covid. Philip was welcoming, pleasant and provided very professional service. He reminded me that all the staff at Bank of America are making the safety and well-being of their customers a priority and he reassured me I was a valued customer.
Hi Conni. Thanks for letting us know how helpful Richard and Philip were during your financial center visit. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know what we’re doing well. ^susan

Quick and easy, painless process to open the safety deposit box! Good customer service.

They don't want to provide service at all. One time I walked in for a notary and was told I need an appointment. They won't help with booking the appointment and ask me to do it on mobile app myself. I ended up with going to another bank to get my notary done just walked in. Another time I walked in for a wire transfer, and was told I need an appointment again because of COVID. It was insane, never heard of it that customer need an appointment to use with their money . When people need wire transfer, they need it now. I want to be assisted at the branch office, not on your social media netowork.

The employees are so rude there for no reason. Always rolling their eyes and giving attitude. Don’t come to this bank. Bad employees and long lines.

Made an appointment though mobile App for a notary. It was so hard to find a time spot. But it was cancelled by the bank just the day before, without any explanation. I even call the number they gave me, but it went directly to voice mail.

After being a customer for over 25 years, we closed all of our accounts. The service, wait times and phone assistance is infuriating! The bank is more interested in selling products and loans, than assisting their customers.

This location is always closed for some reason, as well as other bank of America’s around the area.. they use to stay open a little later..thinking about closing my account and switching, it’s become a hassle..

I went in for a wire transfer. Was told I had to come back on Saturday and the branch manager "Michael" introduced me to several other managers so that "my visit on saturday would be smooth" since "the money could not be wires yet before it matures". I came back as planned and after 45 minutes of waiting while other were allowed to go in front of me "because they all had come in previously and made appointments", I was helped. The wire was supposed to go out on monday, has not happened as yet and not a sole could be reached via phone to help me out. Meanwhile I risk not being able to purchase the house that's waiting in escrow. Sad way of being dependent on banks that have little respect for your time and tons of greed for your money.

This bank and the online information are not the same! Save your time & don’t come to this bank
