This Bank of America location is my favorite. Excellent customer service and a friendly customer experience. They seem to always be very sociable while I’m at the windows making my transactions and it makes me feel comfortable giving them my money.
C
Worst customer service. Always just one teller and several people in line while there's 3 or 4 other people just milling around. I don't need a greeter to tell me "Hi" when I walk in. I need someone to actually do their job and handle my transaction and let me get on with my workday. Stop watching the one teller do all the work and pitch in yourselves. It's absurd to stand in line for 10 minutes and watch Managers(?) just stand there. What the heck?! I was a teller in the 90's and whenever there was more than one or two people in line, the Manager would stop what they were doing and open a window themselves. THAT'S customer service. This branch has ZERO customer service.

In response to the BOFA Response. That was not possible and a customer should not be forced to wait 20 minutes to cash a check, Additionally there were other "capable" workers standing around informing me that it was because it was "lunch-time". If lunch time is such a problem, then close the store so that at least my customer expectations could be better met. This location has always been a problem with unstaffed workers. But if I wanted to buy a loan, there were 3 people ready to help me. 11-2021 update. Still beyond horrible. Keep your $ in a piggy jar. Bad. Understaffed and slowwwww. They should be paying us for the amount of time it takes to see a teller here.

This branch is ridiculous not to mention they take pride in providing lip service. I was already upset that they decided to freeze my card without telling me as I get embarrassed when my card is declined. Only to call and find out that they suspect some sort of fraudulent activity and it's for my own safety precautions that day cancel my card and force me to go into the store to get a temporary one until they send one to me in the mail. I come into the store because I get nothing in the mail and after 30 days my temporary card is deactivated placing me in more embarrassment. So now I have to take time off so that I can meet them during banking hours and that brings me to today. I just sat in there 45 minutes after being in line for about 5-10 minutes just to be told to sit down and I'm next in line and I should be called in about 10 minutes. 30 minutes later a lady comes offers me a seat in her office asks me to wait and she will be with me in just a couple minutes. 20 minutes later I've had enough there's nobody in the Bank all of a sudden except one cashier lady. I got nothing but lip service from these Representatives saying that they're not from this specific Branch but they'll do whatever they can to help me and just tell me to go sit down and wait giving me a time frame that is 3 times longer than stated. I don't know maybe I'm just having bad luck with Bank of America everytime I become a customer. Yet I'm reminded of the scandalous and Shady behaviors and practices by these Banks causing unnecessary hardship has been there track record and they seem to be proud because all of their tellers and managers have Smiles on their face as they care less about messing up your financial situation. Banks are trash and Bank of America is one of the leading pieces of trash around. Thanks for wasting my time and money

Sheema Esmaeiltehrani is totally amazing! I've tried other branches in Laguna Niguel and Aliso viejo, but the service she has provided was truly amazing. She went above and beyond for our small business needs.
Thanks for letting us know how helpful Sheema was during your financial center visit. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know what we’re doing well. ^ines

I was inline for about an hour while two of the tellers just talked and joked. The lady closed on me when the person before me had a big stack of paperwork on the only open teller. The lady then proceeded to give me a little attitude like she was stressed out Horrible first experience

I have been at Ladera Ranch branch many times and it is the same all the time. I was there today for cashing a check and I waited about 30 minutes to be help. There was only one teller and about 6 people in line.

TL:DR - Jordan & Madhu are the people to see if you want any advice or help with your banking, investments, financial advice. Teller lines can be long, but ATM is never crowded and well lit at night. This bank branch is the one I started visiting (not much) because it was the most convenient to my new home. My first impressions were only using the tellers to either deposit a check that needed go into a CD that I couldn't access by ATM, or to transfer funds using that CD. I usually ended up frustrated because it seemed that there was just one teller working at the busiest times during the day. That meant that if someone in front had a protracted transaction, I was standing in line for what seemed like an inordinate amount of time. One day I needed to speak with their financial advisor/retirement accounts person, Jordan. Another day I had the pleasant experience of meeting Madhu. My mind was changed. Jordan took as much time (over a few visits) to help me with budget planning and was not only patient but had so much knowledge to share that I was quickly impressed. I had some debt that I was not inclined to discuss, but he made me feel at ease and not the least bit embarrassed. This continues even though I have yet to move my IRA to Merrill Lynch. I never feel pressured to do so. Madhu has helped me when I have had questions and need service from a personal banker (and I certainly don't have an extraordinary amount of money in there for them to treat me in a special way). She has helped me set up the correct accounts for my teenage kids, worked with me on consolidating my accounts, and just generally been there to answer my questions (which sometimes takes some time)! My kids have met with her and she quickly made them feel at ease and kept them laughing while giving them a good financial primer. Shortly after a couple of visits with both Jordan and Madhu, I met the branch manager (and I'm so sorry I can't remember her name right now), but she was helpful and delightful as well. I never go in without someone greeting me by name and feeling like I'm important (and like I said, I don't have a lot of money in my accounts - especially if you were to compare some residents in the area, I'm sure). I highly recommend Jordan and Madhu if you need help for anything there. I can't speak for the line at the tellers now as I rarely have reason to stand in it. If you are a customer and this branch is at least remotely close to you, I highly recommend it.

The staff are friendly and helpful. For anything other than simple transactions you have to wait to see the Indian Lady manager. She is very nosy and constantly tries to get private information, trying to sell loans. I finally had to tell her than I am there to get service and that I am not interested in any other product she is pushing.

Worst bank and service ever. I only joined because we needed a joint account with family members who bank with B of A. The staff is not trained well, they over promise and under deliver. They rarely pick up the phone, don't reply back to your emails (sent two over a 4 day period and no response back).
