    I went to the branch to send a wire yesterday with fund that needed to go out the same day. I went well before the cutoff time to get a wire out. Avadian did not wire the funds the same day and, as is 1:40 pm the next day STILL has not wired the funds. There was, apparently, an internal issue within Avadian and, at no point, did they call me and advise me that there was an issue or that the funds would be delayed. I called and spoke to a customer service rep who was helpful, and had to get someone at the branch to call me back. An hour later, I finally get a call with someone who apologized for the delay, but made no apology for the fact that that I was never called before, and had to inquire as to the status of the wire. The delay wound up costing me thousands of dollars, a fact that the bank showed no concern for, either. This is completely and totally unacceptable.

    This management at this branch is horrible and very inconsiderate. I will be closing all of my personal and business accounts after having wasted my time at this branch trying to be served. I have been with them since the days of them being Alabama Telco. All things must come to an end and today is the day. This is the only branch I have ever had any type of problems. Will never allow anyone business to treat me with disrespect and waste my time. If I could give zero stars, I would. Edit: Avadian wants to better understand the treatment I received but I have no way to respond to them. Go figure...

    Are you looking for a worse bank than Wells Fargo? Well, look no further! I’ve never been told I can’t be helped cashing a basic check, nor does there online banking never work. I am also told to take off my hat or I can not be helped when I’m having clumps of my hair fall out! If you call the customer service number they transfer you for over an hour then hang up. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend.

    There are many reason why we might not be able to cash a check. Our online banking has not had an outage in quite some time. We are sorry about the hat situation. It is our policy but we are able to make exceptions if there are extenuating circumstances. We are evaluating our phone systems and we hope to make them more easily accessible soon.

    Oh wow. Showed up with my son and the lobby was closed due to COVID. OK, then, we’ll use the drive-thru. We had savings bonds to cash and 30 minutes until closing on Wednesday, 05Jan22. Time and date are noted so the manager can be properly identified and dealt with. The teller took the bonds and started working on it. The Bank Manager told the teller to stop and forced us to make an appointment. The claim was they have other customers and this service will take too long. POOR SERVICE? NO SERVICE! We’ll have go back when it’s convenient for the manager. Bad manager? Really bad manager!

    After much trouble with a loan application my wife and I went to this branch and found Sharon and all of the staff very helpful. They got us in touch via conference call in a private room with Brian Alford who picked up the ball and made it happen very quickly. This is how things should be handled and we can't say thank you enough to the staff and Brian for showing us why we chose Avadian in the first place. Great job all !

    I was in line to get a cashier's check, but I didn't know the procedure, so the lady directed me to where the transaction tickets were. I completed my ticket request and returned to line. I received my check and was pleased. Two other people were upset at having to stand in line twice, and one did a 1 star review and wanted to show it to the manager. There were a total of 4 customers in the lobby at any time during my visit. They were upset that they had to follow procedure and this branch does not deserve anything less than 5 stars.

    I'm having a hard time convincing myself the company even deserves the 1 star at this point. Inconsistency, long wait times in branch as well as drive through, all sorts of hidden fees and now these ATM+ machines. I'm definitely closing this account in the next few weeks - just not worth the headache.

    After being with Avadian for several years, even getting friends and family to join, it looks as if I'll no longer be using Avadian for my financial needs. I used to love them, but now after recent events, I don't even feel comfortable with them handling my money. I admit, I fell for a scam and got ripped off, which is a first for me, but for Avadian to say they reviewed the evidence, in which they never asked for considering I have corresponding emails showing I got ripped off, and just automatically ruling in favor of a scam artist is truly to much for me to overcome and stay with them, especially since they bold face lied, I just lost all respect for them, so if you're just looking to open a regular old checking account they may be for you, but if you're looking for someone that looks after their members and actually cares about them....Avadain is not it.....

    Yes, the bad reviews are true. I just spent 40 minutes in the drive thru with 2 cars in front of me. There was a second lane open, but a 40 minute wait is beyond RIDICULOUS. Yes, we are in the middle of a pandemic, but I went through 2 other bank drive thrus prior to visiting Avadian and was in and out under 10 minutes at both banks!! I see Avadian apologizing for the long wait in these reviews, but I also see nothing is being done about it.

    It’s understandable that the lobby is closed due to Covid; however, it’s ridiculous to only have ONE person working the drive thru. Spending a hour in the drive thru lane is unacceptable. And to top it all off, their ATM plus does not take cash deposits, despite claiming it does.
