    Horrible customer service. Over half of a money transfer I thought had gone to my ACTUAL account that I use AT A DIFFERENT BANK had hit my account, only to find out an account that I thought I had closed in 2017 HERE had the funds, and due to "late fees" I will never see over half of that money. Thanks Ascend, I'm probably going to lose my home over this. 0/5 stars. Y'all are the worst.

    Been banking here for several years but because of the receptionists I’m going to go head and find another financial institution. And even with the clerk in the back, they DO NOT listen.

    Slowest branch ever. The employees inside the branch prefer to stand around talking rather than work. Ascend is a great credit union and the digital tellers are great, but the inside employees are lazy. 2/10 employees actually working. Must be a great job though.

    The lady I worked with for a loan was great, but everyone else was terrible. I was told my credit was amazing, but I was not approved for a $3,500 loan for a cheap car because there is nothing on my credit and the age of my credit. How am I literally supposed to put things on my credit when I need something on my credit in order to put a thing on my credit? That’s how I felt like it was explained to me. No one knows what they are talking about - genuinely - and will argue with you when you try to explain what you mean. I have had an account with them since I could open one with my parent’s name on it. It has been consistently awful experiences with them one after the other. I will be closing my account by the end of this week.

    Ascend is one of my favorite banks to go to. Great rates and usually great customer service. Went to the location today. August 21,2017 . Went to the drive through teller and she asked what I needed to do today. I said pay collections and she said great. I entered my account number and she asked again what I wanted to do again. And I said pay collections. She said sorry I can't do that here . You will need to call collections. And I explained that I have been doing this for almost a year. This is what collections told me to do. She repeated you will have to call collections. That she couldn't help.... I understand if she couldn't do it , but why can't she ask someone there to help her? I left and went to the one on the other side of the towns and the teller did it with ease. Just a big waste of time .

    I am editing this post because I'd originally provided 1 star, and complained about some inconveniences I have experienced at this location. Within the same day, I was contacted by Dean with Ascend to discuss the root of my concerns and resolve them. I cannot stress enough how meaningful this is to me as a customer. I am changing my rating to 4 stars accordingly. Thank you, Dean, for your valuable time shared with me to discuss and maintain a healthy relationship as it pertains to my business needs. I plan to stick around. :)

    They refused to exchange my bills for a roll of coins because 'ee require you to have an account to SELL you couns'. It's not selling, it's an equal exchange and a primary function of banks. Jerks.

    I just set up an account here and was put with Lee Simpson, he took his time explaining everything so I could understand. Any question I had was answered, and double checked. He was absolutely fabulous. Definitely glad I made the choice to bank here, and will continue to use him. Very funny and polite.

    The coin machine has been broken every time I have tried to come use it. The staff is very unapologetic about it and it seems they care not. I guess I can just close my account and use a national bank.
