I love this location. AZ Fed employees are really top notch, but Christine at the Ahwatukee location is the absolute best. I've worked with her multiple times now - everything from opening an account, to car loans, to notary services, and she is an absolute joy to work with. I'll stay with AZ Fed just to continue to work with her.
Hi Cassie – Thank you for the great review and thank you for being a member of Arizona Federal! We agree, Christine is wonderful! We will be sure to pass this on to her leader.

Poor customer service. Had a 1pm appt., however, upon arrival two people ahead of us and was told the wait would be 1/2 hr to 1 hr. Short staffed and not enough seating while waiting. I'll try elsewhere to open an acct. closer to my home.
Hi Jeff – We’re sorry you had to wait during your appointment to open an account. We would appreciate an opportunity to make this right. Please send us an email with a good contact number to [email protected] so we can reach out.

I have had this bank for over 10 years, and they have been great! I was working 2 full-time jobs to pay my bills for 4 months straight; I went in one Saturday close to closing time, and they stayed to work out debt consolidation for me. I was able to go back to working just one job, and AZFCU also took on my car loan for a very low interest rate. I do not have the greatest credit, but they have been working with me to help me get my credit score up, and they even have IRA planning assistance, which I will be checking into further in the future. Additionally, I absolutely love the phone app that allows me more control of turning on or off my debit card, and permitting or denying certain types of transactions. There is even a setting to disallow transactions when my phone is not in the area the purchase is being made at. I haven't always had great customer service there, but when I have, they've gone above and beyond to rectify any issues. This bank has been wonderful to me, and I will continue banking with them.
Thank you for the great review! We're glad to hear our teams and and some of the new tech we've introduced have been so helpful! If there's ever anything we can do to improve, please reach out. Thanks!

I have never been happier with a banking facility! I hardly ever have to wait in line. The staff is always SUPER friendly and helpful! Alex Torres has got to be my favorite employee though,he's personable and knowledgeable and his amazing service goes above and beyond!
Thank you Glenna!

So my wife and I switched from BofA, and it was the best decision we've made. Even though we aren't always able to stop in and be in person, the staff here are friendly and always willing to help. We always have a rather enjoyable time working with Jesse, not only is she professional, she is personable and goes above and beyond. My wife and I love the bank and we will be staying for many years to come.
Hi Dan – we’re happy to hear that our team is providing you with great service!

This place is absolutely terrible. It’s a good spot to store your money if you don’t mind the 1986 mindset. They are so far behind, in every way, in regards to technology. Wife and I are actively looking for a different credit union. Stay away from here if you have another choice.

If you see my distribution, I do not like to give bad reviews. Assume when you speak with someone that they are giving you wrong information, not factual information or are flat out unwilling to help find out factual information. Write down who you spoke with the date and time on every transaction. I have been a customer for over 20 year with this bank. After a refinance and a pay off on a second mortgage I spoke with a customer service representative that said our line of credit was not closed, only paid off. I asked are you sure? She said yes. This was good news. I transferred money into my personal account separate from my husbands account (we have separate accounts) he is the one who signed the pay off with Chase and gave permission to pay off Arizona Federal. I did not sign that paperwork. After thinking I was still able to use my line of credit, I paid off all outstanding credit cards and other property taxes. I drew $6,000 on a $70,000 line of credit. Without permission and or notification they took all funds from both my saving and checking leaving me with a -3 balance. They did say they were sorry. Sorry does not pay my mortgage payment. Bottom line they were not authorized by me, to take funds from my an account, on a line of credit that they failed to close and freeze, that I was told was still open. You do not expect your bank to steal from you. At the very least I should have been informed of their error, before they left me with a negative 3 dollar balance. I have an 820 credit score, have had two auto loans, two lines of credit and never have been late even one day. They simply do not care.

This branch rocks but their customer service department that we all have to deal with sucks. I had accounts attached to an ex and we closed them in December. One was a security credit card so we was informed we had to bring the balance to 0 to be able to close it. So I did that however, yesterday was able to close an account without bring the balance to 0. That stated everything is policy but if you're doing to different things it can't be policy. Take your money in time so where else. Our checking account they didn't close although, they stated they would since I have a order of protection but, Renee told me we need to go in....yes let me die....he overdrawn is account so they took money from me..... mother of four kids on the 25 right before rent. Go somewhere else as customers if the rep states something we should be able to think it's correct but the screwed my kids and I

I stopped by to open an account only to be told that they didn’t know how long the wait would be. The teller did not bother to confirm or ask, so decided to go to a different bank.
