I, my wife and daughters have been members for over 20 years. The service level has significantly eroded over the past five years. I noticed that for one of our accounts Ardent is imposing a $10 per month inactive fee for the past four months. This comes without any effort to communicate such charges and without consideration for financial and social conditions during Covid. I am closing all my accounts with Ardent.

Very frustrating and annoying to deal with. They decide to shut off my card without letting me know and then when I call to ask about it----I get the run around. The incorrect number or email on file. I log on to fix those supposed problems only to find the correct number that I gave them and the correct email already there. I double check my email and no message. So someone in cyberspace got my message I guess. Worse than all that is the way I got talked down to. I am trying to get help and all I get is talked over and rushed....worse customer service sadly. I thought switching over to a credit union from the regular banks would be better but it really was not. This is the second main issue I had with them. The other one was with them setting up my loan payments to be on auto so I wouldn't have to worry about it. Turns out they didn't set it up correctly on their end. So essentially my payments were late because of it hurting my credit....got the run around there again and after a series of phone calls with some very rude customer service reps it FINALLY got all straightened out. If I wanted this kind of service I would have just stayed with the big bank.

This credit union is horrible. They are behind on technology, as their cards do not have tap technology. Their branches are cashless which means u can not take out a large amount of money unless u “plan ahead” to make the withdraw from a sister branch. The interest rates are no better than any other regular bank. They do not make a distinction between ur account number and ur member number, which I learned is the same number, except for a few zeros. If u give ur member number instead of ur account number for automatic bill pay, the money will come out, but ardent will charge u $10….bcuz u gave ur member number instead of ur account number. But when u log into the app…it says clear as day what ur account number is. Only that’s not actually ur account number, it’s ur member number bcuz it has a few more zeros. I hope that confused u bcuz that’s how I felt when it was explained to me after I incurred the $10 fee. This is a bank disguised as a credit union. There are no special benefits for joining this credit union.

Very disappointed in this credit union that I have been a member of since it’s inception at Smith Kline early 1970’s. Mistake after mistake in the past year. I’ve asked to speak to supervisors and managers but never get a call back. I’m about to leave.

Worst bank. Been a member for nearly 15 years and nothing but trouble for the past 5. Run. Bank somewhere else that is modern and cares about their customers.

Ardent is a great. I am constantly provided with the most wonderful and professional customer service. Jesse H. in lending was extremely helpful. He made the auto refinance process seamless. 10/10 would recommend to everyone I know!

Love Ardent Credit Union. Had only good experiences with then. Amazing low rates on my mortgage and car loan. Highly recommend it. Banks have been robbing me too long. Thank you Ardent and thank your excellent staff.

Went in to get cash out for a vacation. Was informed they don’t provide cash withdrawals at their CU. I was told to go to a competitor for a withdrawal more than my Daily ATM allotment. Seriously a sad state of affairs when getting cash that you’ve earned is not allowed by the bank you’ve chosen. Sadly I am an uniformed customer, that’s on me—and now I know.
