Worst bank ever, rudest customer service in the world and very snobby. Will rack up random fees they will not help with in any situation. When i call the person on the other end has a bad attitude right from the start like the are upset at me for even calling.they are unempathetic and very unprofessional over the phone. They do not care about you as a member and all they care about is the money.i was told by the manager my fees are not her problem and that she did not care about me wanting to close my account. Do not bank with them if you are looking for new banks. Look into chime or another local bank. Loan rates are high and the bank usually asks you to put up all your possessions as colateral.

Very disappointed in the customer service. My husband passed away and we had a bill he paid with the credit union. His death was very unexpected and in the following weeks I had a lot to process. One of those things was his bills. I got a late notice on our payment and I immediately called to pay and I explained the situation and was still charged a late fee. As far as I know my husband had paid well and on time and given that I called immediately after being notified I was late I would hope that customer service would have been understanding. Not only were they not understanding they were rude. It's several months out and this still weighs on my mind. In a time that so much was going wrong, they had an opportunity to show grace and compassion and they chose not to. It was only $12 but it is $12 dollars that will keep me, as well as my family, from doing business with them in the future and if you are reading this maybe you too.

Always friendly and professional customer service. My mortgage and my auto loan we’re both very convenient. Saving and checking are both with ACFCU staff has been excellent!!

I used to defend this company because I believed in its mission and I felt that the executive management cared for the staff and members. While I know that there are good people who still work at this company, I cannot recommend it. I no longer believe that the executive branch cares for this staff or the members and that they no longer serve the same mission.

I was talked into working with this institution and almost immediately regretted my choice. I had to call and email several times to get a copy of my loan paperwork, as the loan officer that did our paperwork did not want to print it off after we signed it. We live in Bristol and they do not have a location in Bristol. The only ATM's are in local stores and do not take deposits. I found myself in Gray on two occasions and went by the main branch. On my first excursion I found that the drive-thru teller service was not staffed and I had to park and go inside the building. The second instance was last night and I drove by to use the ATM. Of course, the machine did not work. The ATM at the main branch did not work!! It was not out of money, it appeared that it just would not work. Staff seems to be indifferent with one exception, Adam Taylor. He seems to actually care about people and what he does to try and help them. Online access and the mobile app work pretty well, which is why I give ACFCU two stars instead of one. This is definitely not a top tier institution and I will not be working with them once the loan I have with them is paid off. Major mistake on my part.

I love ACFCU. I have been with them for a little more than a year and a half and in Gray, they have hired one of the nicest tellers I have ever met. He is always floating from one Credit Unuon to another so that other employees can take their vacation, time off, etc. The only thing I can say that I dislike about them and give 4 instead of 5 stars is because of paying a $10 Service Fee every month since May 2016, which I don't believe I should be paying...due to things beyond my control and over 2 years ago. Even though, I know they use ChexSystems and that's probably the reason it started this way but I wish an overview would be done after 2 yrs to get this "Service Fee" gone.

Predatory Lending at it's finest. My partner applied for a car loan with ACFCU and was approved. After she found a car we went to sign loan and pick up the check. First, while reviewing the loan contract with Savannah her credit score was nearly 100 points lower than what Eastman Credit union had just a few days prior. Both ECU & ACFCU pulled her score form the same bureau and there were no changes in her credit report. And her credit card had the same score as ECU a few days after the loan. Which leads me to believe that ACFCU had altered her score to justify charging a high interest rate. Savannah went over the contract very fast and we had to go back because she didn't give us a copy of contract. Second issue, they forced her to take their auto insurance even though she already had her own insurance that would cover the newly purchased car. ACFCU insurance was $100 more each month for the exact same coverage. And come to find out, Savannah had already signed her up for their car insurance and added it to the loan hours before we came in to do the loan. Third issue, Savannah refused to cancel the optional GAP & Debt Protection coverage stating that both were required to be approved for the loan. But the contract clearly states that both are optional and can be canceled within 60 days for a full refund. Fourth issue, the optional GAP coverage that Savannah said was required wasn't even needed because there was no gap to cover. The loan was a few hundred dollars less than the value of the car. If the car was totaled the insurance would have paid off the entire loan, so there was no GAP to cover. Savannah at ACFCU just wanted to make another commission. Stay away from ACFCU they are clearly predatory lenders, go elsewhere or Eastman CU where they don't make commission on loans. I wished that we did since it has cost us over $1000 just in useless addons.

Leslie as a manager told me that she did not care if I kept my account at their bank or not. worst manager ever the owner should rethink their staff. I have banked with this bank for years and will be closing my account due to Leslie's attitude.
