I dealt with APLFCU and Denise regarding an issue with a new vehicle title. Mrs. Webster was very knowledgeable and was able to provided everything I needed to begin the process and correct the issue. I feel she went above and beyond with her guidance and insight and was able to provide all of the details and options I needed to get this issue fixed. The APL Federal Credit Union loan officer I called went above and beyond what I expected her to do to resolve a problem with a car title! My son, who lives in CA, bought a car with me in January 2009 in CA. He is selling that car now in CA and needs proof that lien was paid. The loan officer dug through the APLFCU records and found the lien, the title, wrote a letter stating the car was paid for in 2014, and sent all those documents overnight to my son in CA, so he can buy a new car! I would like to commend Judy, and recommend that you award Judy an Outstanding Performance Award. I contacted your customer service line regarding some unauthorized ACH deductions that had been applied to my aging parents account. Judy tracked down the erroneous ACH EFT's and within a few days, she had investigated, resolved the issue, and taken care of applying a credit to our account. Again, I would like to say thank you to Judy, and I recommend that she receive an award for excellent customer service. If you have such an award in your organization with an awards ceremony, I would happily attend to present the honor to Judy.

No longer a fan of this bank; for the average every day person, FEES FEES FEES FEES. I can’t stress enough how DANGEROUS THIS BANK IS TO YOUR CREDIT. Been banking here for a while, and learned quickly never to use their credit card ever again unless it’s a DIRE EMERGENCY (as in you depleted your rainy day funds and have NO OTHER OPTION). Additionally, they charge you fees for darn near everything, it’s a wonder they don’t charge you a fee for getting your balance. We moved to NFCU and are beyond happy as it is a night and day difference. So while some may think this bank is all that, just be careful and keep close tabs on your account because you will be charged. They seem to cater more to the big dollar making folks, furthermore, fraud is a nuisance to deal with, with other banks I have seen a much easier workflow / process to work those issues.

This bank use to be a good bank, but it has changed for the worst. I deposited two checks at the beginning of the week and one was to pay off a loan and the other was to put in the bank. I was told to call back on Thursday and they would probably take the hold off the check that I deposited. I called Thursday and spoke with a lady who told me the hold would come off yesterday after 4:00, so when I got home I checked and the hold was not taken off (The checks were from the same bank and company, but they did not put a hold on the check that was paying off the loan). I notice on this feed a few people had the same problem with with someone saying a hold would be off at a certain date and time and it wasn't. I am getting disillusioned about this bank and I've been with them for a while. I referred someone to this bank and they are having the same problem with holds being put on their paychecks. It's time to go shopping for another credit union.

This place has good car loan rates but that is about it. Their online bill pay system is awful and ive been trying to get a hold of a person about re financing my house for 5 days and cant get a hold of anyone.

Great rates... TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. If you ever try to call and get someone on the phone, you can forget about it... I called twice and was hold for 20 minutes both times. This was at the start of the business day might I add.

Great car loan rate, but everything else is terrible. Ease of making payments, customer service, etc. This place is difficult to deal with. I think paying more interest to a regular bank is worth the money. Hindsight. I have not been able to set up auto pay on anything. I was instructed to deposit monies into my account to make it easier. I go to the branch and the branch is closed. I call, they tell me no problem go through the drive thru. They will not take my cap one debit card to fund the account. A real inconvenient nightmare. Not worth the savings.
