Closed wife’s account without her consent and we now need to wait to receive stimulus checks by mail. On top of that, while we banked here we got slammed with overdraft charges multiple times when we actually had money in the account. We had to monitor our accounts and put them under a microscope to make sure we weren’t being charged

    Response from the owner

Hi Jordan! Our team has had an opportunity to review your wife’s account history, and we’d love to put her in touch with our Account Resolutions team. When she has a moment, please have her email us at [email protected] with a good contact number and time of day to call.

Stay away from this group. I had a total loss insurance claim and was in the process of getting gap insurance and insurance to pay off the car. It took a few months and insurance, the dealership, and gap all made payments over these few months. However, the credit union didn't count any of those towards my payments and are now showing me 60 days past due and have reported on my credit bureau. I was in the bank in July making sure nothing like this happened and this was never explained to me. As of now they are completely Unwilling to work with me on anything. I never even received a phone call letting me know that this was going to be reported. Worst customer service I've ever dealt with, and I've had a lot of bad customer service. Fact the matter is they've got all their payments, car is now paid off yet I show past due on the loan that is taken care of. To top it all off the person I spoke with was rude as could be. Kept getting upset with me stating I was interrupting her. Only did that when she gave incorrect information. I will also be reporting to Better Business Bureau, and google reviews. I want people to be aware of just how badly they treat their customers. My other credit I union was more than happy to work with me on a similar incident years ago. They didn't have the slightest issue with my credit rating even though they received payments almost on a monthly basis. Set thing is, we were in the process of doing a home-equity loan. Going to make sure and cancel that now. There on willingness to work with me only costing them money

    Response from the owner

Hi, Brandon - As mentioned in our response to your original review on Yelp, we are looking into this further. Can you please direct message us with the full name on the account or a phone number at which we can reach out to you? Thanks.

I had to get an auto loan with them because I had no credit after my divorce. They have the WORST costumer service! Anytime you call they are rude and have no compassion. Don’t bank with them if you can avoid it

I tried making a cash deposit at the ATM but apparently they don't do this anymore. I went to 2 ATMs because the first bank I went to (Parmer location) is temporarily closed due to COVID and I thought it might be an issue with that ATM, so I went to another location but this feature is not on the ATMs anymore. I have never had a bank that didn't want me to deposit money into my account.

    Response from the owner

Hi Jessie! We have actually moved away from ATM deposits at our branches, but you can deposit cash or checks 24/7 using our night drop service. You can learn more about night drop at Amplify here: https://help.goamplify.com/en_US/account-management/night-drop.

I don’t understand Amplify. I bank with them and have an auto loan with them, never been late on anything. Go to trade in vehicle that’s financed with Amplify and Amplify denies application because I’m self employed. I was self employed when I got this last vehicle with them. My guess is bank is probably going bankrupt or something idk. What I do know is there making money off my money there and I’m not getting any of the benefits of banking with them. It’s ok I’ll find another credit union that is more appreciative of having my money there and business.

    Response from the owner

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, Matt. After talking to our lending team, it sounds like they have advised you on a course of action regarding your auto loan. You are encouraged to contact them directly with any questions or concerns you might have about the lending process. We hope to have an opportunity to work with you again in the future!

About 1/3 of the time. Matao who i guess now has been promoted to a banker after raising voice his voice with me, trying to force me to do stuff I cannot do safely. His words are hurtful and he should not be in any type of position dealing with people. Tarika on the other hand is very helpful. She is the type that will hopefully change this branch around.

I have been a member of this credit union since it was Ibm credit union for many many years.

    Response from the owner

We appreciate the kind review, Debra. Our IBM members - the ones who have stuck with us for years - are the heart and soul of the credit union.

Amplify CU is a great way to do banking and has the best ATM rebates.

    Response from the owner

Thank you! We'll be sure to pass your kind words along to the team at Esperanza. It will be a nice little stocking stuffer for them as they prepare for the holidays!

They charged me overdraft fees for no reason and then closed my account when I refused to pay the overdraft fee. EDIT: I emailed the address they gave me and never got a response. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

    Response from the owner

Hi Trenton! Our team has had an opportunity to review your account history, and we’d love to put you in touch with our Member Support team. When you a moment, please email us at [email protected] with a good contact number and time of day to call.

ATM Does Not Accept Cash Deposits. While I understand closing the branches due to Covid19, the drive thru times are insanely long. I just realized that they got a new ATM machine that only accepts check deposits. Why would anyone use that if you can take a picture with your phone from anywhere to deposit it?
