Ameris Bank Deerwood Park Blvd, Jacksonville

I absolutely love Ameris bank. Everybody in the branches are so friendly to talk to and very helpful. My company has a business account and I have a personal account with Ameris bank. I rarely have an issue and if I did I visit a branch and they took care of it right away. They can even re-issue a debit card on the spot so you don’t have to wait 7-10 days for a new debit card to come in the mail. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a stable financial institute to bank with.

I was advised to consult with Ameris bank for a VA Loan. I signed paperwork in December not realizing that my lender representative was not locking me into a rate. Late April 2022 rolls around and as I conduct an inspection with the Builder, both the Builder and I realize I need to check on my rate lock. It was then that I learned I was not locked into a rate, nor was my lender attempting to lock me into a rate. The rate he was also offering was not competitive with VyStar or Navy Federal. I was not met with a professional exchange regarding the rates or my options for a rate lock. It is now late June and my house is supposed to be complete next month. Still, no rate lock! When I inform the lender that I would no longer move forward with the loan I also informed him that I was unappreciative of the poor, ineffective communication. Instead of a professional exchange I was met with, "well I guess you didn't read." My recommendation - with as difficult as the house buying process currently is, don't add to the complications by choosing this branch as your lender.

Opened a new checking account in just a few minutes and walked out with debit cards and a starter check. Best customer service I’ve ever had. Meredith was the best!

I went to the gate Parkway location to open a business checking account. I was greeted by the branch manager and escorted to a personal banker. Amy was my personal banker and she was amazing. The entire branch was friendly and welcoming. Amy provided me with detailed info on what recommendations she had for my business. It was simply amazing, she went to everyone in the brand and introduced me to each one of them. I have never had an experience in a bank like this. Highly recommended

Beautiful grounds! I really enjoyed my visit here ( to cut the grass) I'm Kevin Burdette and I work for CASA Landscaping, and it was a delight taking care of this property today! The employees were more than friendly when I went inside to use the facilities. If I ever decide to open a bank account it will be here, beautiful location, friendly, caring staff, and I asked real quick about a basic checking account! And the and were amazing! Come down and take my word for it and see for yourself!
