Ameris Bank Piedmont Rd, Atlanta

I had trouble parking on 1/28/22 just like several others due to their machine being down and was penalized and charged extra for being forced to use the “lost ticket” function. The person who answered the call from the exit gate was rude and not helpful. How was I overcharged for your faulty machine not giving out tickets!!!?

Absolutely terrible mortgage company. Took my mortgage out with Fidelity before being bought by Ameris. For 7 months I have been trying to get a refund out of my escrow with no luck. I have called been transferred to supervisors whose voicemails are full... sent certified mail.. emailed and sent messages through my online account still without answers or talking to them. Over 2k is owed out of my escrow due to them not being able to do simple math. Also short changed my home owners insurance by $1.31 how do you even do that? Terrible customer service and very rude.

Actually, Mike wasn't there. I was, and Mike is my husband. The lady that helped me put me at ease immediately! Her friendliness and warmth and acceptance of my limited experience with the latest technology made me feel that I could walk into the bank any time and find people eager to assist me in any way. I have been in business in Atlanta for over 40 years. I have banked with numerous financial institutions but I have never had a more positive banking experience than with Fidelity Bank and specifically the Buckhead branch. Personalized and professional service and the best “can do” attitude in the banking business. It just does not get any better.

Absolutely awful mortgage servicing. Would advise any/all against using this institution for your real estate needs. This brand who supposedly prides themselves on being service orientated and "your neighbor" on the basis of their "golden rule" could not care less about the customer. They failed to post a sizeable payment to my account and in turn seem to have lost it and couldn't care less about making things right. Not even the CEO Palmer Proctor is concerned about correcting a serious internal mistake. Quite a shame as in todays day and age you'd hope the "local" bank actually acted like one and not a money hungry big bank.

Gino at Fidelity Bank in Buckhead is always on top of things and works hard to make my banking experience as hassle-free for his customers and I greatly appreciate the personal touch. He is a major reason I keep accounts at his bank and location.

I have been with Fidelity for more than a decade, and have multiple business and personal accounts here. I used to rate them a 5, but since Ameris took over, a one is too high for the complete failure Ameris is. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! The glowing ratings you see here are from before the Ameris takeover

I was a little concerned with the take over from Fidelity, but so far things are still good. It is the same great staff and service is still the best of any bank I have ever used.
