Came in on 7/18/18 to open up a new business checking account and this was by far the best experience I’ve ever had with a bank. Not only did Erika provide astounding customer service, she explained the value of each type checking account they offered. I came here for 1 checking account and left with 3. Definitely will be recommending Fidelity Bank to all my family, colleagues, and friends.

Unfortunately the change from Fidelity Bank to Ameris Bank has not been great, and has caused several issues for us on a business level (we have a few business accounts), and issues with personal bank accounts. The issue is not with the friendly and amazing staff at the local Snellville office, they continue to be wonderful as they were when the bank was Fidelity. The issues we are experiencing are with the phone customer service department, with the fidelity credit card department, issues with bill pay - (example: takes over a month for payments to arrive to vendors, that's if payments arrive at all). There's been changes to the online banking platform for both the business and personal sides. Fidelity had user friendly characteristics that I miss, I have reported the issues with the new site to management, and to customer service, and I was told "unfortunately nothing can be done". The latest mishap is that I deposited a check that originated from a scheduled bill pay, since Covid the vendor issues a refund since the funds were not going to be used... as instructed by the teller I endorsed the back of the check to note the issued check wasn't used for the purpose intended and needed the funds returned to my account (keep in mind, funds had already been drafted to issue the check to vendor) after the deposit back to my account the check was again withdrawn from my account resulting in a duplicate debt. I tried reaching out to customer service but I have not yet had a response to resolve issue. Multiple issues like this is what is forcing us to look elsewhere for our banking needs. We will be switching, and do not recommend Ameris Bank for business or personal accounts. They have a lot of work to do to restore faith to their institution, I wish Fidelity had never dissolved.

Yes, I deposited a check via mobile app and it was on hold for 11 days (which is crazy. Anyone would be frustrated at that point). I decided to call and they were very rude. The customer service line for Ameris bank nationally was great but whoever answered on the line at the branch was terrible. She didn't even hang up the call and I could hear her and another bank teller bickering and talking negatively about me.

I had a good experience with Fidelity Bank and I'm very happy that I decided to go with them. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and very helpful. The bank manager, Carole Perez, went out of her way to help me and she put me at ease. I e-mailed Carole when I couldn't get into online banking and she promptly answered and resolved the issue. I highly recommend Carole and Fidelity Bank.

I have been with Fidelity Bank since 2007 and had been extremely happy with the bank. However, ever since the merger to create Ameris Bank, I have been very disappointed. I have not been happy with the new app. I have lost the ability to do serveral different things with it, like logging in using my fingerprint, getting notifications of purchases over a certain amount, well written details about my charges (they are now hard to read and don't give me info on how much was in the account at the time the purchase was made) etc. I have also found out that they are now charging me to use ATMs outside my bank and I can no longer get any atm fees refunded. I use to get 2 fees a month refunded. There are now extremely long wait times to call customer service and I have not been satisfied with the representatives I have spoke with. It was really nice to have a local bank that always took the time for me, but I feel that that bank is gone. I will be changing banks now.

Hi your bank charged me astronomical fees for a 1 dollar overage and account closed. Your rep Annette (who dropped the ball. Very RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL) in the Conyers Ga location was to have Ms Perez call me so we can rectify this and she did not. I would appreciate someone with the ability to view a closed business account in Conyers Ga area with seniority to call me ASAP

Now this is a great bank! Free checking very helpful people and a good website with onling banking. I am really glad we found them. I checked out a lot of banks in the area before choosing Fidelity Bank.
