My closing agent Wendy “ spelling of her name poss not correct” was absolutely horrible and my personal opinion is she should be fired. She refused to except my signature even though it matched my drivers license! I was told by her it was not legible and I needed to print my name next to it.

We closed 12/18/20 on the home we sold. Taxes were withheld from closing even though we informed Alliance that our mortgage co. had already paid them. We were told Alliance would call after closing to verify they were paid & then the money would be refunded to us. Our Mortgage company paid the taxes in November 2020 per our final statement. We still don't have the refund & were informed yesterday, after we called again and Alliance finally called the county, that the county had posted both payments & would need to contact the new owners to get permission to refund the over payment. Which could take another 2-4 weeks. This company has very poor business practices & very poor communication. We have called twice now about the refund and this is the first time we were told about the overpayment?? Not once has Alliance contacted us. They held our money, paid it to the county when it wasn't due and now we will have to wait 3 months to receive our money back? It is Alliance's responsibility to double check before they pay out funds at closing but apparently they don't do that. I would never recommend them as an escrow company. If I could give them 0 stars, I would.

We used Alliance to buy our home in 8/2020 and had a good experience so we decided to use them again to refinance... which was a mistake. We were told to bring a cashiers check and that morning we received an email from the lender with an updated amount. I then called Alliance to confirm the amount, which they did, but when we arrived the amount was about $400 more. When I asked to speak with a manager the person reviewing the paperwork seemed scared and now I know why. Kimi Dennison came in with guns blazing as to why the amount was what it was and how they have no control. When I confronted that I had spoken directly with her about an hour and a half previously she initially denied that we had ever spoken but when I again reminded her she stated that she didn't actually look at my file when I called. I confronted her negligence at which time she told me to "please take your business elsewhere" which I promptly did. Finding another title company is easy enough but finding time during normal business hours for both my wife and I to be present to sign is difficult. They are either using bait and switch tactics or are incompetent, either way I can only strongly recommend Kimi's advice: "take your business elsewhere."

Failed to get our closing documents to the notary before our set closing time and did not have anyone available at the time of closing. Also did not inform us as to final closing amount until noon on a Saturday with closing time set before banks opened on Monday. Very unprofessional, uncommunicative, and put us at risk. We have to reschedule closing because of their errors. Very disappointed.

We were very impressed by both the building and staff of this company. They have coffee, soda candy and juice boxes while you're waiting. If we ever go down the home buying road again i can't imagine we'd use any other company for this portion of the home buying process. Thanks again for everything you have done.
