Alliance One literally saved my staffing business in March of 2020 when we had a client that was refusing to pay us. That (now former) client thought we were sending them to collections after getting a call and email from Alliance One and sent us a check for $36,000 to pay all outstanding invoices. Alliance didn't charge us a dime for that (and I was hooked!). Since then we have regularly factored our invoices with Alliance One on a weekly basis. While we have paid a substantial amount in factoring fees the last 2 years it is simply money well spent to avoid the heartache of carrying other company's debts. We have experienced exponential growth, we have the flexibility to take on large projects that were unthinkable when we started. As of late it's turned into a competitive advantage because no matter what our invoices need to be accurate and approved by our clients which is a huge help to an HR department if they're ever audited because Alliance One's documenting process required for funding means there's always a paper trail. Our company clients have referred employees to us on purpose because we have a meticulous payroll process that reflects our invoicing practices. The biggest challenge with a growing business is the fiscal squeeze felt as it grows because there is a constant need for more money to cover the various expenses associated with growth (taxes, supplies, advertising, etc.) Dave and his team have been incredibly flexible with me and have fully met my needs whenever I've felt pinched. We have had an excellent experience with Dave, Jaime, and the team and would highly recommend them for any factoring or accounts receivable needs your company may have.

My company has been factoring my invoices with Alliance One LLC for over 10 years, they are a fantastic company. I recommend them at every opportunity that I get. My company is payroll heavy, without Alliance One, I would not be able to pay my staff. A big thank you to Dave and the Team at Alliance!

My reviews are scored based on experience and to either give referrals or advise "buyer beware". I use reviews a lot before making decisions and hope this serves useful to anyone reading. Alliance one seems to be a decent company on surface. It had decent reviews, and Mr. Divinio (sales rep) was very personable. Once my account was "approved" things went downhill when I was assigned an account manager Mrs. Grignon whom often spoke over me and several of my clients referred to as "obnoxious". Based on my experience i I would have to agree with them. When I first contacted AllianceOne, I clearly communicated the expediency in which I needed Factoring to take place and asked whether or not they could do it in said timeframe. I was assured by my account manager and also the CEO Mr. Albrandi that what I communicated could be done in a timely manner. I will take a moment here to say I was very persistent and consistent in communicating said needs to both my account rep and the CEO, which may have been a turn off causing the deal to fall short. Which I was fine with there are plenty of other factoring companies out there, and I was able to get a deal done in a timely manner with another company. The reason why I advise anyone who considers this company to beware before buying is that professionalism can quickly go out of the window when dealing with this company. As mentioned before I communicated my need for funds because i had urgent payroll liabilities to take care of. This company not only fell short on delivering but they held funds from another company for DAYS. They were aware that had a new factoring facility and that a release was coming from my previous one and still held the money knowing that I had a dire need. On top of that, their ability to hold these funds came from the account manager prematurely reaching out to my clients with a Notice of Assignment before the deal was closed out causing my clients to mail them a check directly. This check was for over $7k which may not be much to them but is a significant amount to me. While I could expound upon my disappointment with this company, I will simply leave it at Buyer Beware, and if you do go forward and things go awry "I told you so".
We do our best to provide excellent service to all of your customers. We are sorry to hear that Mr. Price feels he was treated poorly by Alliance One. In all the years in business, this is something that we do not hear very often. There is a process in getting approved and funded, while there are always small bumps in the road, the system does happen quickly. There are multiple steps that have to take place before we can fund any account for the first time. Some of the steps are not in our control as we need assistance from the customer and their account debtors. We need to verify the invoices and we also need the account debtor to sign off on our “notice of assignment”. There was also another financing company that was owed money and we needed to pay them off, before we can send Mr. Price his funds. During our verification process, we realized that the amount that was verified was not enough to cover the outstanding balance owed to the old finance company. While we were preparing to fund Mr. Price, once we had all the appropriate paperwork, he gave us a hard deadline on Tuesday September 21st, that we needed to fund him by 1pm. Mr. Price told us if we could not meet this deadline that he would go elsewhere. When we are not able to meet Mr. Price’s hard deadline, the file went from approved status to declined status. At this point, we reached out to the other financing company, that was owed money, to inform them that we would not be moving forward with financing of Mr Prices receivables. We did receive payment from Mr. Price’s customer and once the check cleared and we received authorization from the old lender’s attorney, Alliance forwarded the funds to the new lender. From our side, Mr. Price displayed much anger against our company because we could not meet the time table that he set. After his account was declined, Mr Price, in multiple emails apologized for his behavior, which we accepted but he failed to mention this in his complaint. We do not want to include the actual emails in this response because it is not our intention to embarrass Mr. Price. We must follow the banking guidelines before we can fund any account. We never want to disappoint any potential customer. We want to close each and every deal, as fast as we can, but sometimes it’s out of our control. Again, we apologize to Mr. Price if his experience with our company was less than most of our customers feel.

My company has been been using Alliance One, LLC for factoring needs for 10 yrs and I would like to take a moment to toot their horn... Aside from always being professional and diligent there has never been a time that we needed something that we were not able to request it and it's always granted. A factoring company will either make or break your company and Alliance has always made sure we had whatever we have needed to be successful. Dave always does what he can when he can to be of assistance. Our account manager Jamie works as fast as she can to process our invoices and provide request reports as well and that is much appreciated. Choosing the right cash flow source is detrimental and Alliance One is always the right choice with cash flow / invoice funding needs. -Crystal Collins

I own and operate a small staffing company in the mid-west; I had some working capital issues, due to growing pains. I was told by the bank that my business was too newly formed and I could not obtain a loan. I was stuck in a good position, where obtained a new client, but need to hire one four new employees to service the account. The terms in which I was going to get paid by my new customer, put in a bad position in which I did not have the positive cash flow to meet the increased payroll. I was turned on to invoice financing by one of my current employees. I contacted Alliance One and I still remember what they told me on my first call… I could sell them my aging invoices today for immediate cash tomorrow. To this day, it’s been as simple as that. I no longer had to wait to get paid by customers, I sell all of my invoices to Alliance One and I am always paid the following day. Thank you Alliance One!
Thanks Joe, you will always been one of our favorite clients.

I've worked with Alliance One since 2008 as a vendor partner and they are one of our best clients to work with. They are true to their word, do what they say they are going to do and have incredibly clear communication. We hope to work with them for years to come.
Hey Mike, sorry for the delay in responding to your wonderful five star review. We very much enjoy our relationship with your company.

They are my accounts payable for my business in order for me to factor. I have a stack of invoices that I have not factored I was told when they get paid out they will be released to me on the 1st & 15th of every month but there is ALWAYS an issue of why I do not receive them, these invoices go back as far as May 2018, Oct, 2018 Nov, 2018, let me be clear this is July 2019 and its hard to get in touch with David Allibrandi and I still have not received my funds. I regret doing business with them 1000 times!
OilField Drafted has been a customer of Alliance One for about two years. There has never been a time where any phone calls or emails from Stephanie have gone unanswered. In fact in June 2019, I spent over 30 minutes personally reviewing her account and explained to her how the funding process works so she could have a complete understanding of her accounting and the various reports that are available to her on our online portal. In August of 2019 Stephanie has chosen not to renew her agreement with Alliance One, which is her right. On August 22nd 2019 we received a call from Stephanie to request that we purchase additional invoices, subsequent to receiving her non renewal letter. My reply was to send in your invoices and we will take care of it for her. Even though Stephanie has a dedicated account manager who is always available to answer any and all of her concerns, I also spent additional time going over her account with her. She currently has many outstanding invoices that have not been paid to this date. Her claim that Alliance is holding her funds back is unfounded, when in fact money is still owed to Alliance One for her account. I am not sure why we have a negative review from Stephanie but as of today August 29, 2019 we are still in communications and are still willing to assist in any way we can to satisfy her concerns.

I have not complaints, I am very happy with Alliance One. My account reps are great, I get paid when I am supposed to, there are no hidden fees and process is really simple. Sure it costs money to factor, without them I wouldn’t be able to grow my business.
Hello Chris, our company always strives for five start reviews. I am glad that you are happy with our company.

Be very careful when dealing with these people!! My business did not enter into business with them, however, they filed a UCC against my business in 2014. The first time I questioned them, they stated they would remove the UCC for $750. About a year later, they stated they would remove it for $1000. Last week, I inquired again, and was told they would removed it for $399 and behaved as if they were doing me a favor. Please note: We chose NOT to work with Alliance One, LLC but they are still hanging on to the UCC as if we were customers of theirs. They state this was all in an agreement that I electronically initialled during the consultation stage, however, the agreement does not say anything regarding a UCC being held against my business indefinitely. They have been very rude - David Alibrandi, specifically. Do not sign anything or work with these people. They don't care about you or your business! They only want your money.
Mrs. Roth signed our contract on November 24th 2015 at 2:01pm ET, via DocuSign. A copy of the fully executed agreement was also emailed to her. Once a contract is signed (as per the agreement), we begin our due diligence process. There is a true cost when running a credit report, drawing up a contract, filing UCC, terminating a UCC, opening credit line, man/woman hours that are vested, to name a few. In our agreement (which was executed), it specifically states… if no schedule is ever purchased, that Alliance One will charge to the customer, the setup fees and due diligence fees before we will terminate our UCC filing. To this day, no funds were ever received. Mrs. Roth had been in communication with management via email only; and on multiple occasions offers have been made to lower this fee down to $399.00. This covers the setup costs; the due diligence fees were ALL waived. We want to accommodate Mrs. Roth but at the same time we need to recoup some of our costs as well. We use a contract to lay out the terms of the deal, if Mrs. Roth was not satisfied with the contract; she was not forced to sign it. We sincerely apologize if Mrs. Roth feels that she was dealt with in an unprofessional manner. Our records show that the only communications we have been via email. After a careful review of the email chain, we feel that we’ve been courteous and accommodating. We always pride ourselves on top notch customer service and we always go the extra mile for our customers.
