I had a really bad experience with Tom Leone as my realtor. I asked specifically about he presence of at outdoor dog when I moved in, concerned (obviously for its well-being and also) about the noise. He assured me every time he had been to the home during different times of the day the dog was quiet and never made a peep. I moved in, and the barking was incessant IMMEDIATELY. The neighbors told me it was noise around the clock for over two years, and they couldn’t believe a realtor would say otherwise. It went on for the entire year I lived there. Animal control, police calls, speaking to the neighbors, none of it was effective. I couldn’t work from home, study for tests, or have company over. My quality of like was very poor. It was the single most stressful living experience I’ve had in 14 years of renting in 5 different states. Worse, my landlord tried working with Tom so I could move out but I would have been essentially charged two months rent, which I could not afford, because of Tom’s commission. I felt it was not an ethical move, and because of my awful situation, I cannot recommend Tom Leone from Allen Tate. I fully understand and support making a living, but I cannot comprehend how a person works at the expense of others. My advice: work with tenants to come up with a fair solution.

BJ Knox was our realtor for over a year whilst we searched and decided what our best options would be in the area. Relocating from out of state, her local knowledge and empathy to our situation made our home buying experience truly enjoyable and exciting which is how it should be.
