I love my the customer service. I've never had a problem with the staff at the battleground location. I go in or now drive up and just chat away and forget about what I came for!! 😀They always call when they feel that my atm card has been compromise. I love my credit union!
We love hearing from our members and appreciate your business and for taking the time to share your experience. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you. Thank you for choosing Allegacy

Total waste of time . . . They were 10 minutes late to open the door and lied saying that their coworker was "working the drive through". Funny, bc she walked in the front after parking her car . . . so where exactly was she working the drive through??? Also I brought in our welcome letter from our apartment complex along with car insurance proof with our new address. The lady "helping" me didn't even bother reading the documents when I showed them to her. Due to their poor service they just lost not only our business of cashing a check from selling our house but also with any loans that we may need in the future.
Thank you for your feedback, Victoria. A positive member experience is very important to us. I will personally contact our management team to let them know of your concerns. If you would like to have someone contact you, please email [email protected] with a good time to reach you. Thank you again for bringing it to our attention.

No different than anywhere else. I've always heard good things about CUs, but my experience here has been less than positive. When our loan is paid off, I will be done with Allegacy. UPDATE: Even though I am not subject to backup withholding, Allegacy insists on deducting backup withholding from my account. Allegacy insists that they received an IRS request to withhold tax from my account. Yet when I asked for a copy of this request they were unable or unwilling to provide it. I am not subject to backup withholding. I have 8 other accounts at 6 other financial institutions, none of which have backup withholding deducted.
Thank you for your feedback, Bill. Doing the right thing for our members is at the core of what we do and we regret your experience did not reflect our values. We would like to have a manager look into your situation further. If that would be acceptable to you, please email us at [email protected].

I initially opened my Allegacy account as just a trial, to compare with my bank. After a few months I closed all of my other accounts and do all of my banking with Allegacy. This branch has some of the friendliest people I've met in any business, and they actually make it a pleasure to do business with them. There is rarely ever a wait, and there's free Keurig coffee and cookies for you to enjoy. I wish they had more branches in the Triad!
I apologize for the delay as I am just now seeing this. THANK YOU! We appreciate you!

My experience with credit unions in the past have been ones where the CU treats you as though you are important. I've always had great experiences in the W-S Allegacy location which is where I also opened my account. But every since the Battleground location has opened, my experiences have been very different and not great ones. The branch manager is very stand offish and when needed acts as though she cannot be bothered. The 1st couple of times I experienced this, I brushed it off and chucked it up to her being a very busy woman. But the 3rd time I encountered her was when my son was about to go to college and there was no one there yo assist us with opening his acxount but her. She was very "closed off" and even my son after leaving said, "Gosh, she was in a bad mood." She rushed through the papaerwork and when we needed to ask a question, she sometimes vague in her answer. She didn't give us a timeframe for when we would receive his card. As we were leaving, I'm I'm glad I thought to ask. Months later, I called to ask questions about a new car loan and yet again was made to feel like she didn't want to be bothered. As a member, I don't feel valued by this bank and have since begun looking into opening an account with another financial institution.

The service on person and over the phone are exceptional. I would recommend Allegacy to anyone needing a bank

The whole process took a lot of time, discussed everything and they told me the details but at last step they refused. They should have told me on very first day that they cannot do it. If you want to waste your time with zero result, this is a good place

Avoid. Lack of automation cause inconsistent customer support (eg different answers depending on who you talk to). Two months of no resolution to log in issues.
Thank you for your feedback. This is not the experience we strive to provide for our members. I have escalated your comments to our management team. Thank you for letting us know.
