    Very disappointed in my experiences with Allegacy. Staff does not seem to receive adequate training with fraud issues in both member services and Visa credit card department. I had my cards physically stolen and used, and even with a police report the bank has dragged their feet and told me "I don't know" so many times when being asked to simply report the fraud and help me fix my account balances. Their credit card department has dragged my credit score up and down through the mud for the past 4 months because staff made mistakes on the forms and did not know what they were doing. I was told, "they will receive better training," but never received phone calls back from those departments after being on hold for hours the past several months. I've had great interactions with some employees at Allegacy and really do appreciate them trying to help, but when you call member services or their fraud department, everyone can't wait fast enough to transfer you to the next department. They will tell you "you need to transfer and talk to xyz department," despite just having talked to that department and being told they can't help.

    Love that this is so close to my work. A little busy at lunchtime sometimes but that's to be expected. I'm really here because I want to tell you, if you need a Loan Officer Deena Hudson at this branch is a God send! I needed a loan for a new car after mine got totalled and she went literally above and beyond to help me, being that it was a Friday and I was buying the car on Saturday. Unfortunately I had to work during the 9a-12p that the main branch is open on Saturday. She understood and saved me from possibly losing out on the car. She explained everything very clearly and even when that car didn't work out due to reasons out of our control, she returned my call immediately Monday morning to help me change the loan for a different car, and so much more in between. I highly recommend her, she does her best to help get what you need. She is an asset to the Allegacy team!

    The negative reviews are not lying. Asia, the teller who received me took it upon herself to exercise her authority instead of being helpful. If I were to take the check to another location I would have 0 issues, I could have just as well made the deposit via the app, but no, Asia wanted to feel important. How many years have I been with this union? Our accounts pay your salary Asia.

    UPDATE: As you can see, Allegacy responded asking if I would like to discuss this further with them. I emailed as they requested, and provided my contact details, but this was clearly an effort from them to just appear as though they care, as I have yet to be contacted. Although you should know that your social media team can't even handle this properly as I somehow got added to internal email correspondence notifying me to congratulate one of your employees on their retirement. So yes, I am glad they are retiring from the crapshoot that is your company. Thank you for solidifying my original thoughts about Allegacy. ________________________________________________________________________ ORIGINAL REVIEW: Absolutely horrendous location and customer service-- I work for a global airline and am always traveling. Therefore I use my companies Credit Union which is primarily digital with very limited physical out of state locations. Both my credit union, and Allegacy FCU use the CO-OP Shared Branch network, which allows members of one credit union to perform transactions at another credit union. Through the CO-OP Shared Branch network, participating credit unions can serve members in diverse geographical locations, even when they move or travel. This allows me to walk into any participating location and make deposits and withdrawals without issue. I today however, needed to utilize a notary for a document, and my bank suggested going into this Allegacy location because of the network partnership, and getting the document signature witnessed by the in house notary. However, I was aggressively refused ANY service because I am not an actual member of Allegacy FCU. Excuse me? That is not how your participation in the Shared Branch Network works, and clearly additional training of job responsibilities and customer service is required. Luckily, I was able to go up the street to another network member, and have the notary service completed, as a walk in, without charge, and without being that institutions member! Needless to say, I will never step foot in Allegacy FCU again, and I will immediately stop referring people to this poor institution.

    Would give 0 stars if I could. They won't waive a 34$ non sufficient funds fee(call representative named reyna) . We are in the middle of a global pandemic I was unemployed for 2 months and didn't receive any unemployment, yet I've managed to pay my bills. I'm the only person in my household with income and the Bill's are on autopay yes I was a day late but I still went the next day and deposited all my money to pull my account out of the negative. 34$ maybe not be a huge amount to a company but its half of my grocery budget for the week. DO NOT RECCOMEND btw I've been with allegacy since I was in high school.

    Rates and products good. Convenient location. Hate the stand up customer service stations with no privacy - very awkward. Asked 4 times for my son’s check card to be blocked from overdraft so he wouldn’t go negative - yet 4 times it happened with two different sons. Frustrating.

    Worst banking establishment on the planet. Do yourself a favor and avoid doing business with Allegacy. Once upon a time they were a good bank, back when they were Reynolds Federal credit Union. Now the focus is on the bank and not the customer. Will never do business here again.

    Had an appointment to see a banker as the lobby is closed. They did not tell us ahead of time we needed masks. Turned us away. Then we came back with masks to find no one wearing a mask in the bank. The lady helping us was not caring or helpful. Seemed lazy like she would have Just preferred to turn us away.

    Not only does it take forever to get assistance here, but their ATM never works. Update: after finally getting to speak with someone, they got the ATM problem fixed, but it still takes forever to get anything done here. And I still haven't received any phone call back about the skimming issue that affected several of allegacy customers that were never notified about. Overall still very disappointed in this institution. I went with them on a suggestion from someone I trusted. I'm thinking strongly of switching back to my old bank. At least they would notify me if there was a problem. Furthermore, I never had to wait to speak to anyone because they always had more than three people working at a time, inline this Allegacy.
