    Beware of using this bank. I have been a customer here for 5+ years. This week I accidentally overdrawn my bank account $6.54 with 2 small charges. Subsequently I was charged 2 overdraft fees of $37each totalling $74. I wasn't thrilled about it of course and customer service refused help so lets chalk it up to a real hard (and expensive) lesson learned. So today I see that I have a second charge of $74. I call to inquire and was informed that my over draft fees incurred their own overdraft fees!?! Accidentally over spending almost $7 dollars has cost me $148!!!! I couldn't believe it. Again customer service refused to make any concessions at all. I asked the "customer service agent" if it made sense to her and she simply said yes. I asked her if she were in my situation would she think it was fair. Agent told me if it was her she would be grateful that TCF covered her charges because she at least understands that her charges are her responsibility. WOW. Bravo TCF, nice way to treat loyal customers. I of course will being taking my business elsewhere I don't have facebook or twitter so I am not sure how we can get this resolved.

    TCF is a great bank... I have had pleasure of banking here for 8 yrs . I pay no monthly fees with my checking account and using the TCF mobile app is easy. The people working here are always friendly and helpful. Thank you TCF.

    This bank is awesome, I've never had any issues with them. I had problems with other banks, which makes it hard for me to find a bank, but since they don't check credit they took me on no questions asked. They've also provided the best service I've ever had as well. Open every day of the week, which is nice, but they don't have many locations in Arizona. So I end up driving a few extra miles on the rare occasion that I have to deposit a check.

    A low end player in the banking space. If you need to do professional activities, money transfers, cash withdrawals, etc., their hoops to jump through are ridiculous. Often times didn’t allow the transactions I needed at all, leaving me scrambling to find other ways to move and use MY money. If zero stars was a selection, this is that bank. The branch manager at another nearby location was prompt to tell me “all banks are this way.” Truth is, that’s not true. I’ve since moved my monies to a great local bank that is a partner with me. Just don’t make the mistake I did in opening an account here in the first place.

    Every one at this branch is extremely helpful and friendly. Recently, I had a question and Jennifer went above and beyond to help answer my question and fix the problem. She took the time to communicate with me and follow up on the problem until it was solved. I am so impressed by this bank. The wonderful, friendly staff and flexible hours earns this bank 5 stars hands down!!

    So i have been a customer for years, never really used the account until i opened 2nd business in MN. Laura skoal is nice and will try to work with you on any situation. Gabbi Hernandez constantly gets caught up in her lies, and when pressed about her statements always says i used to be with wells fargo thats the way they do business. Unfortunately no its not. I have a business and personal account, which i cant access on mobile banking when i went in to fix the mobile banking i was there for 45 mins getting run around. They said they couldnt get it situated since main branch was 2hrs ahead they would call me next day. Well that was 2 weeks ago no call and still have problems with the mobile banking. My advice, go to a bigger bank if u dont need the convenience of having branches in multiple cities.

    absolutley the best bank! have all of my accounts there..switched a couple years ago and would never go back to chase ...I go in 3 or 4 times per week and they are always happy to see me! love 'em!

    I just deposited cash. I cannot use that cash for 3 days!! Way to hurt your customers financially. I will incur late fees and other issues because of this. I will be cancelling my account immediately! As well as telling everyone I know to avoid TCF. To anyone thinking of opening a “new account” STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!

    Lady in the front was great, how ever who ever answered phone was new or not informed, with what was a valid id. Very upsetting to drive 9 miles across town to find out in person.
