    I have been with Affinity for awhile now. There has been a lot of change recently in loan officers, and how they look at the person they're working with. I recently went and applied for an auto loan. They denied me a loan due to "excessive obligation in relation to income" and "Delinquent past or current credit obligations". I am completely current will all my obligations. Also, the only thing delinquent was a $30 bill from a internet provider from 2018 because of poor communication from the provider. Well, it's funny how this is how they see me, but when I applied to Toyota Financial to purchase a new vehicle they gave me 2.99% for 72 months which is A+ tier. The rate from Affinity was going to be at least twice as much. Toyota probably gave me a good rate being that I always pay my bills on time or ahead. I have never defaulted on a loan from the credit union, or from any other lender. I just got done paying a loan off from the credit union, and we currently have other loans from them which are either on time or ahead. The banking experience from Affinity is above average, and they finally have their banking application figured out. The new building is great in Duluth, but all the people I had relationships with in the loan section has moved on to other opportunities. My wife and I are actively looking at our options for credit unions in the area. We will probably move once we pay off one more loan from them.

    Affinity's new location is a million times better than the old, and I say this without exaggerating on that number. Very modern and faster customer service. The drive through is something I would be 99% of their customers have wished for. The new bank is much bigger and the parking is less congested than the old location that they shared a lot with neighboring businesses. They even paid attention to the small details like complimentary tampons and baby diapers in the bathroom. Affinity went from worst to first as far as interior of Duluth banks go. Their employees have always been nice, but they seem extra happy to be where they are today.

    We've been trying to set up a mortgage appointment for over a week now. You can't call the Duluth office directly, it goes to some 1-800 number. We've tried 2 call AND email. It's very frustrating.

    Incredibly unprofessional. I thought Wells Fargo had issues but I had fewer problems being a customer for 15+ years at WF compared to less than one month as a "member" of Affinity Plus. Thankfully this was figured out before switching all of our accounts over. If you are on the fence of changing banks or unsure of your current financial institution: do yourself a huge favor and just stay put

    The sales person Caleb in the loan’s department wouldn’t stop pushing 18 year old to open a credit card after respectfully saying “no thanks” multiple times. No means no.

    Customer service is A+. Taking out a car loans was very quick and easy. They work with people as individuals not a number like big banks. They are the best!!

    I love this credit union because they know me when I come in. Employees are so nice and so helpful. They take care of you there and help me to improve my credit rating. I went from poor to very good in a short time with their suggestions!!!

    Most of the people are nice, but the services are inconvenient at best. I have a car loan through them and it's almost impossible to pay them without driving an hour to the nearest branch. And the lady I was on the phone with gave me a heavy sigh when I asked a question. Maybe she should work where she doesn't have to answer phones.

    This is more of a whole company review more than location although I've only had good experiences here. I forgot my log in information for the online banking and I was on hold for while BUT it is the last day of the month/year and bills are due so I expected to wait. I was recognized for waiting and they are always super helpful and friendly. I work in customer service and I know it can be hard but they do a great job as a company and at this location!

    I had been affinity customer for a long time. The staff are friendly and helpful. I love online pay, transfer money, and it is so fast. If I set-up before 3 or 4 days before your due date, then the bank will email notify you to let you know that it will send out. But from other bank(well fargo bank) usually take 5 days to pay online, plus they charge you fees if you are not using their debit card for 10 times days. I’m a person that I don’t trust electronic withdraw, call pay, and websites online. I only trust through my bank online that I pay out. Plus, I have rewards points when I make a deposit. I wish affinity plus bank open more in different states. Thank You, Affinity plus Bank!!!!
