Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis

I like the concept, and the service was nice, until the downtown location closed. I have nowhere to get quarters now. I had to open a new account at a nearby bank just to get quarters for laundry. Why is it so hard to find tellers for a single location? Do they not pay well enough?

First bank I've seen do a hard credit pull during application. I've had many credit union accounts and this was never the case. Opened an account due to their competitive rates, which have since dropped.

These guys are a straight joke, they claim to be people first but instead they look at people like numbers and risk potential. I tried applying for a membership and was told that because of one item on my credit report (to which I’ve been making consistent payments on for 3 years (they admitted to even seeing my record of consistent payments)), I was not membership worthy. My family is growing and we needed a $6500 loan for a new car, I even admitted that to them, and they still turned me down and stopped replying to my emails. We make over $5k a month but I guess we’re still to much of a risk to pay them back smh. Stop lying to people by telling them you’re for the people when you don’t even give people a chance to show you that they are responsible adults that work, live, and pay what they owe.

Great credit union! They are friendly and the fees are either non-existent or reasonable. In particular they have been great in helping set up automatic transfers and issue certified checks. The online platform is easy to use and their rewards program is an added plus.

Very good credit union, which I have been a member of for many years. Helpful service from all staff. I have had many car loans from Affinity Plus over the years and always been pleased with their rates and service. Keep in mind that their locations are limited.

My only notch is when people have large issues that are time consuming they will hold up the line or a teller. Probably the difference between this credit union and other banks with bankers. Update: always 1 to 2 people working only. Long issues hold up the teller lines.

I've been a member for 2 years and I love Affinity. I've always been treated with respect and they have helped me every time with no issues. Great staff and friendly!!!!

Usually a long wait and I used to bank here a year ago but dealt with rude service from tellers and changed my main location to somewhere else.

Very good services and will help with lones and give us real heart felt smiles.

Affinity in general is great but this location is horrible. Only one teller available midday on Thursday. Long lines and slow service.
