My husband and I recently got our first mortgage through Acre Mortgage, and we just wanted to say Thank You!!!! As first time home owners, we could not have worked with a better team of professionals. Lindsey deserves a medal for the work she puts in and how caring she is and responsive, she would reply to my text at any time and if she couldnt she would always get back to me. James was available and answered all my questions at all times. They are great with call backs and questions, they are detailed in what was needed and what we needed to provide. very grateful to have worked with such an amazing group of people.

Acre Mortgage mails out letters, that looks like it could have come from the government about FHA loans. Clearly meant to target a certain demographic. Any company trying to hide behind something is not a good place to do business with. Also, might be illegal? I don't think they can legally solicit a loan, via mail or phone. If you get one, run away! It's just junk mail.... Listing things like "sellers pays all closing costs" is entirely out of their control and pretty much a fabricated statement, contingent on things that are pretty uncommon. While a seller assist is common. Seller paying all closing costs is VERY uncommon. Also, anyone looking at 100% financing or zero out of pocket due at closing should not be buying a house! These are much higher interest rate loans, and the highest risk for default. Don't make a stupid choice. If you want to buy, be ready to wait and get your self to a place where you can! Also, talk to a home ownership advisor! They almost always are free, and can set you up with some great tools to help you along the progress.

My fiance has been talking to them for a month. The closing is complete we got the house. How ever. They waited for the last minute over and over again to tell us what we had to dish out more and more money And other home owners I know said BY LAW they have to give u 3 days head up didn't get that. They told us the day of closing what we needed, and all days before that an estimated amount. Yes we are happy we closed. Yet the service they provided, was so unprofessional. And I'm new to this buying homes stuff. So I don't know of they played me or they did it by the book. All I know is they waited till the day of the closing to give is a price and our bank is an hour and a forty minutes from where they wanted to meet to close. If we weren't in such a desperate situation then I'm sure we would of left them alone.

This is quite possibly the worst experience I have ever had in dealing with any company. For 3 years we have been trying to attain the criteria to be eligible for a mortgage. We are not mortgage experts! We were constantly told what to do to increase our credit, only to find out that certain advice was not only wrong but hurt us. We weren’t told about the various mortgages available and how the pandemic changed parameters do our goal kept getting further out of reach. We plan to buy next year, but it won’t be through you. I have no problem either sharing my experience with friends and colleagues. Your loan officer was lousy. You lost a customer who trusted your advice!

Dan and the staff at Acre mortgage were more than great. They went above and beyond their duties to help myself and my daughter secure the loan for our new home. Not only were they nice and courteous but they all were very caring. We had a very difficult loan and Dan and his staff fought hard to get it pushed through guiding us all the way. I can't Express enough how much I appreciate them. I'm so thankful that God sent them our way. If you are in the hunt for a new home I highly recommend Acre Mortgage.

My son financed a FHA203k loan with Acre mortgage. Their explanation of how things were going to work were we’re so poorly explained it was like this was their first time dealing with this type of loan. Our loan was sold before any funds were dispersed to our contractors. And the VP Ryan Barbalios was such a coward he wouldn’t return calls or talk to us on the phone. Worst company ever.

I am considering purchasing a new home, so I contacted Valerie Edwards who is a Mortgage Loan Officer at Acre Mortgage. I am very pleased with all the help she provided me. The advice she gave me concerning the services they offer were timely, clear and specific. I appreciated the help from your company and because of the advice I received I now know what I need to do to move forward in purchasing (Example, I need to increase my FICO from 570 to 620 to get a better rate). Not only that, but the loan officer I am working with follow up with me periodically to see if I have reached my goal to proceed (this is very encouraging to know that she is on my side). I plan to finance my new home with Acre as soon as I can, and I will be recommending Acre Mortgage in the future.

Sent me a mailer, pretending to look like an official letter stating Final Notifications. The mortgage company I am currently working with informed me this was info they bought from the credit bureaus trying to pass off as an official agency. Beware of the Junk mail they send you.

I had a phenomenal 1st time home buyer experience with Dorsey Hairston and the Acre Mortgage team. Mr. Hairston was very cheerful and pleasant to talk to. He is extremely knowledgeable about the mortgage process and gave concise and straight forward information which made it very easy to understand things I had questions about. The entire team was very professional at all times and I greatly valued their consistent communication to keep me well informed at each stage of the process . All of my emails and phone calls were answered promptly, on a couple occasions I called after hours expecting to leave a voicemail, but was amazed to get a live, friendly hello and a problem solved. I felt like I was in good hands the entire process and my mortgage went throuh without a hitch. I am grateful for Mr. Hairston and the Acre Mortgage team.

I highly recommend Dan Nevin and the rest of the team at Acre Mortgage! My husband and I only purchased our home less than two years ago, but rates went down significantly since we closed. Dan Nevin from Acre Mortgage was recommended to us for a refi and he went above and beyond to get us approved and complete our refinance. Dan was able to get us a rate substantially lower than our original loan and all was said and done in about a month's time (during a pandemic, at that). He was helpful with our many questions (first time refinancers), quickly responded to all e-mails, and the rest of his team was just as helpful. Because of our refinance, we're going to save tens of thousands of dollars over the life of our loan, and Dan made the whole process easy.
