I just want to start by saying Kelly went above and beyond to help us purchase our first home! With having less than perfect credit, actually down right horrible credit! Kelly was able to guide us through a step by step plan to get our credit exactly where it needed to be to purchase our home in record time! As soon as our credit hit the right score We received a pre-approval literally 24 hours later! Kelly held our hand through every step and we were able to close our loan in 3 weeks!!! Even when the loan was closed on Kelly’s end she still dragged the title agent to the finish line to make sure everyone was able to walk away happy! We did not have a realtor so Kelly went the extra step to make sure everyone was on the ball! We cannot thank Kelly enough, when we were turned down by other brokers for our credit score, Kelly rolled up her sleeves and helped us tackle it as a team. We love Ace mortgage and without them we don’t know if we ever would be where we are today!

Well I have to agree with the last few reviews. This is more like torture mortgage. Scott is actually very responsive, knows his stuff and the two stars go for him. The lack of a five star review is to the sleepy loan processors. Once the deal was passed to them it was a total nightmare!!!!!! As the last review said the closing was dragged when unnecessary. All the docs they requested days before closing “dates” should have been requested immediately when passed to loan processor (lack of training?) I can elaborate more, at the end they sell off your mortgage to another company. Keep all options open when shopping for a mortgage company.
This review is especially puzzling….while we appreciate the acknowledgment that we are responsive (we answer the phones and return emails, literally 24/7), the fact is this transaction included complex details that a lay person would not necessarily understand…the client was basically keeping her home in Broward County, while moving across the state to start a new job, in a different field….coupling the complexity was that her husband was the realtor in the transaction, but because of less than excellent credit could not be on the transaction…Federal guidelines say that a realtor in the transaction cannot also give a gift, and the money being used as a down payment, came from his account…I can’t blame a client for not understanding this, and at the end of the day, we were able, to successfully close this transaction, while many of our colleagues in this business would have simply denied the loan. As mentioned by the client, anytime there was a question, or more importantly, and issue, our firm let the client know; whether that was 8am on a Monday morning, 2pm in a Saturday or 8pm on a Friday night. Closing such a transaction was a Herculean effort by the whole team. While the loan is being served by one of our servicers, the client is always welcome to call our office, for any questions with this transaction. Once, Jeff Bazos was asked when Amazon would get into the mortgage business. His reply was striking…he said that Amazon clients are used to being happy from the minute they buy something to the minute it arrives at their home…with mortgages, the happiest day is when they sign the original contract, because after that it is a lot of government guidelines that inevitably frustrate the client… This is true in this case…however I would say, this is a testament to our “never let a client down” policy by bringing a client, even one that doesn’t on its face, qualify over the finish line…my one thought about this review however, is that the clients husband who is now a realtor, should hope that the clients he helps, the difficult clients, do not review him, to the standards they are holding out to us. It should also be noted, that the client missed an opportunity to point out is that the first home they made an offer on, it was our expertise that pointed out some very onerous details that helped keep them from a terrible transaction…

This review is actually in response to a review just left by a "Jamie Camps". As the operating officer of the firm, this is patently untrue as Scott has been recovering from throat surgery since July 7th and is not expected back until the end of the year! As operating officer, I am monitoring all calls and communication, and no person like this has ever dealt with our firm. However, this meets the pattern of someone who uses Google as a weapon (read through our threads and notice this poster's Profile which is basically non-existent) who has tried (unsuccessfully) to extort Ace in the past for donations to a sham foundation…We have reached out to Google & Yelp however they insist they cannot interfere with someone’s opinion. I have been with Ace Mortgage for 15 years, and I am so proud of all the people we helped purchase or refinance their homes- we work tirelessly to carefully structure and navigate the most difficult scenarios, we say Yes when others say No and our stress is our client's stress at the end of each night. We have so many clients who trust and refer all their other family and friends so we have to push back on this fraudulent review if for just that reason! I am happy to take any calls from this "person" and/or anyone else...

Im just going to state the facts. I was supposed to close April 20th 2021. I closed May15th 2021. Scott was very unprofessional. made the whole transaction very uncomfortable. gave every excuse in the book to drag this out. Both realtors involved, who have been in the business over twenty years each said "they have never experienced anything so unprofessional". made me come up with 14 grand more than he originally told me. told me that a minor error in my taxes made my debt ratio jump 8 percent. Sent me emails that i know weren't ment for me and they were rude. I saved every email. When you hire a mortgage company they work for you. Scott told me in an email , he felt sorry for the seller. Ive bought and sold 8 house's over the last 12 years, it's suppose to be a good experience. This by far was the worst.
Mr. Durney certainly had an uphill experience, however, what Mr. Durney leaves out is that in the middle of his transaction, he filed his tax returns without notifying, us, his banker... He took aggressive deductions on his schedule E, which led to a reduction in income, and a higher than acceptable debt to income ratio. Being a layperson, Mr. Durney did nothing underhanded or wrong, , however, did not understand how his actions had an effect on his transaction. With that being said, and having the flip the transaction from a simple Conventional mortgage to an FHA mortgage, our firm did not run from bad news, nor turn the client down. We took every call, and returned every email, never running from uncomfortable news, or calls.

My experience with the purchasing of my first property had been nightmare up until I met Scott and Kelly. They really took the time to help me understand the process, and guided me through until completion in a very timely and professional manner. I don't have even ONE complain. They are amazing and will offer you a personalized service, no matter the size of your loan, and they actually ARE available at all times, I would call Scott after 7 pm and he would respond and talk to me for as long as I needed. I am truly grateful and for sure will be doing business with them again.

If you want personal one on one service with a LOCAL mortgage broker.... Ace Mortgage and Scott Osher are for you! If you do not want to risk sending your documents overnight mail to your banks "processing center" only to have them "lose it" which forces you to resend them again.... ACE Mortgage and Scott Osher are for you. Call them up. Make an appointment. Talk to them face to face. You can HAND THEM your documents in person. They will CALL YOU if they need anything. You can ask questions. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!

Our jobs are to be bankers, and in that, this firm works as a FIDUCIARY in all our transactions. Our suggestion that she could use the money the County was giving her to eliminate the mortgage insurance possibility was not only rejected, but Heather then hung up on us. Within minutes there was a 1 start review. We take this very seriously.

Called to ask a couple questions, seemed very pushy wanting me to get a conventional loan, I am the customer I decide what loan I want. Don’t waste your time with them they seem like you bother them! Broward County needs to remove them from there lender list !!!! Horrible customer service!
