    ABCO is fine for the most basic of banking functions. But I have not seen those lauded perks of banking with a local credit union. I will say the interest rates are a bit lower on home and auto loans but if you're not borrowing, then those perks certainly don't outweigh the convenience, customer support and professionalism I've grown accustomed to with larger, multinational banks. With ABCO it's been blunder after blunder. Poor customer service and sadly uniformed staff. Details of the latest snafu: I spoke to 2 different agents before setting up a wire transfer of large sum of money. Both agents assured me that the funds would be available the same day. Money has been in pending status for 4 days and I still can't get a live rep on the phone. Chat agent said she'd email me documentation on their wire transfer policy. Never got an email.

    Unable to log onto my online account or app after their system update. I have been trying to call for over a week and after being on hold multiple times for over 1.5 hours I have been feeling very frustrated. I have a business account with this FCU and have been unable to access my account since prior to the update. I work and can't simply stay on hold for hours at a time. I understand that updates and glitches happen, but perhaps they could have extended business hours or upped their staffing tone able to deal with glitches in a timely manner.

    This has to be one of the worse banks I’ve banked with. I travel a lot and they’re always putting blocks on my card. Sometimes it takes deposits longer then they should to appear. Whenever you need a replacement card they can’t do it on site, it’s always gonna take at least a week to get it through the mail, such an inconvenience. There is no customer service on the weekends or past business hours. Smh. If you bank with ABCO I highly suggest you strictly use this account for their perks and have another bank account. Poor customer service overall.

    Not very welcoming when you first walk in and or when you walk up to the tellers. My first time there was to open an account and i had to ask all the questions and get educated on the services offered. No information was volunteered to be provided for a new customer - not good! The window dividing us made me feel like I was visiting someone from a prison institution. The printout are barely readable bc of the ink, the lady next to the teller I worked with clearly had no customer service skills whatsoever and was rude in speaking to the customers. I could barely hear what my teller was saying bc it's lacks privacy. I walked away hoping that it was just this location and hopefully I won't need to go there for any problems or again. I Belong to another credit union and there customer service, staffs appearance, management and information is wonderful. May I recommend that these tellers learn from the credit union of NJ tellers!!! Good thing this is not my main banking institution. Otherwise I'd be watching my statements online daily for errors in quality data. No happy already!!!

    I don’t understand...this bank a couple of years ago was sooo good to me. This year has just been horrendous. Everything from the customer service, the new mobile banking app, and the error that blew up my credit score. To not being able to get help over the phone at all. I’m done! DO NOT bank here! Save yourself the headache seriously!

    The tellers leave a lot to be desired. They have no customer service skills at all! They teter between outright indifference and rudeness nothing more or less no smiles or warm welcomes. Don't expect the extra mile. I've heard this is the best bank for services overall but I begrudgingly step inside the facility and have waited 6 months to actually open an account with this bank versus using the shared branch options which sucks.

    Absolutely horrible service. I have left message after message (because they do not answer the phone) and have not received a phone call back after many requests. I needed to touch base with someone fairly quickly....over a week ago, and I still never heard back. I was going to use them for a car loan that they heavily advertised, but I ended up financing through the dealer, because ABCO dropped the ball. Terrible customer service, or lack there-of!

    Do not bring your business here, their practices have become dishonest. I was approved for a car loan, then when i chose a sensibly priced new car (Yaris ia) they said they could no longer honor the loan, then suggested i may want to look at a higher priced vehicle. 😑 Their excuse was that their internal NADA valuation does not match what the NADA website says... but they had no reason as to why it’s different and absolutely NO desire to correct the discrepancy. This experience was miles worse than when i used ABCO years ago for a new car loan. First they rushed me to get paperwork in by telling me that the special rate for March would not be applicable after 3.31.18; today Darrius said that that’s not so, that the loan is valid at that rate for a month (so either one of the employees was lying OR the didn’t know what they were doing??), they claimed they didn’t get my paperwork when it was sent several times (this is the only thing i find semi believable), then they chose to undervalue the car i picked, which after i left a voicemail advising that the NADA website showed me exactly the price asked at the dealer an employee (Kira) left me a message saying their system looked to be wrong- now suddenly that employee is mysteriously “on leave” and everyone else i’ve spoken to dodged my calls even after telling me they’d call back so that i had to keep calling every couple hours. Now they refuse to honor the loan tho not ONE person can explain why the ABCO system has a different valuation for a NEW car that only has ONE model. And they couldn’t explain why they were requiring a more expensive vehicle when their website stated a min of $5k -which at $17k+ this car was well over. Their advertising was false and their attention and concern non existent. I am so frustrated and disappointed! I’ve been a member for over 15 yrs and used to speak SO highly of ABCO but their service has plummeted since Mr Hershberger retired. For simple banking they may be ok but DON’T go to them for loans. They’re just like every other bank, trying to force you into a higher cost car and/or payments just to make more money off their members.

    I am not thrilled with how this bank operates. I have been a member since I was in high school and stay because it's inconvenient to transfer all of my accounts to other banks However, this place is so not able to meet the need of their customers/members. For example, I have been trying to call customer service all day (it's Saturday). No one is picking up on their toll free, which is the only number they publish. After calling 6 times with no answer, no the number is ringing busy. Further, most of their branches aren't open on Saturday or close early. The locations are far and few and the hours are inconvenient. Some branches have no drive thru and there are never any more than 3 tellers, even on Fridays. Plus, all of the staff have to handle everything, so you may be trying to make a simple deposit and your standing in line behind someone who wants to discuss refinancing their mortgage. Poor customer service, no convenience and their fees are comparable to most commercial banks.

    This is the worst bank ever. Money missing from account that can’t be explained, staff behind the plastic borders at the Willingboro location can’t hear when your trying to be private about your personal finances and they they seems to have a lot of computer issues. And at times, they are rude and unprofessional. I’m closing today after looking at my statement online for funds that I can’t explain what’s happened. Horrible, horrible and horrible.
