A Yankee Peddler & Pawn Shop Main St, New Britain

Been a customer for years, but with the prices of gold today and the current inflation we've had it's getting more and more difficult to find anything, especially gold/silver, let alone at a reasonable price. I visited AYP&P today and was surprised to find exactly what I was looking for, at a fair price. The staff were very patient and focused on finding the item as described. I walked away satisfied with my purchase and with their customer service. If you haven't visited in a while, it's definitely worth stopping in, they may have what you're looking for.

My go to for quick pawn. Do not be quick to sell your shhhh... if your a few days late. Like other trifling places I've done business with once around the corner from here. I'm mad I didn't stick to my go too's

For selling items to them, they are very fair with what they pay, they pay more then most pawn shops. Buying from them, they have reasonable prices on everything and always have great working items. Customer service is top notch! I would recommend this place to everyone!

This pawnshop is great and filled with beautiful jewelry and used goods. Staff is patient and is trying not to just make a deal but make a customer. This pawnshop is almost perfect they’re just missing me as a pawn broker !!

I went in to pawn my necklace so I can pay some bills and I dealt with Marco. he made me feel very comfortable leaving my jewelry with them. I was nervous at first because I did not know how much I would get but I was pleasantly surprised not just by the offer, but by how affordable their rates are! I wont go anywhere else from now on. Never do business here the young kid that works there has no idea what he's talking about! I brought a few items adding up to about 1,500$$ an there was a few i never used. He told me hell give me 100$ for everything.Do not go here.The young man is clueless an doesnt have enough experience or knowledge about items to be dealing with customers.Hes gos off of ebay which all pawn shops do but looks at the lowest that the item is selling for.
