    I went in to purchase my registration for my car and I used the chip reader for my card it didn’t work I thought it was my card so I transferred money to another card and tried to use the chip reader again same thing it didn’t work so I asked the cashier could I swipe my card she told me yes I swiped my card and entered my PIN number the funds left my account But the cashier said it didn’t work and that she canceled the transaction I asked for proof she said that she couldn’t give me anything and because she canceled the transaction my funds would be refunded in 24 hrs I waited the 24 hrs and checked my bank account and the payment was posted and not in my account I called the currency exchange back this morning and she told me that there is nothing she could do to figure it out with my bank I feel like i was robbed of my money I should have went to the reviews first …terrible experience

    Clerk had to call 15 people to verify a 5k check. Made my dad stand on his bad knee for 30 minutes while she helped other customers, claimed she was the manager but had to call multiple "supervisors" I think they just don't want to cash out money .

    I love coming to here to do my business. All the employees are very sweet Norma Jacky Vanessa there all so sweet and extremely helpful. Everyone that is saying negative things about this place you guys need to understand there doing there jobs they have rules they must follow so it's not there fault, and if you went to another currency exchange they would do the same thing they did. I have never had an issue here with anyone no matter what the issue was that I had, they resolved it no matter how long it took they never let me walk out unhappy!!!! I'll most definitely be coming back and recommending my friends and family they do awsome work here, they all deserve raises for there hard work.

    Waited in line for 25 minutes to be told they ran out of plates and couldn't help me. Couldn't I have just paid for my plates and got a receipt and came back to get them later? Complete waste of time.

    Im writing this complaint in reference to the service ans fraudulent practices done here. My mother came in Oct 18th to make her mortgage payment. She has done this serveral times. The representative that day processed her payment thru the wrong system (check free not western union). Her payment was then rejected by her mortgage company since it was sent as a certified check which they wont accept om their end. Her mortgage company then sent that check back to my mom but it wasn't written out to her. She cannot recieve her money back since its written out to the mortgage company. My mom came back to the currency exchange at this location for a refund or for the process to be corrected. Then the location took the check and tried to redeposit it in their system ( as if it will work. Omce again the check was written out to the mortgage company so why would it be allowed to be deposited into a store branches account?) They called my mom the next day and stated to pic up the check that isnt in jer name and call her mortgage company for a refund. Since Oct 30th, my mom has been going back and forth with three identities putting the blame else where ( the currency exchange, check free pay processing, and her mortgage company). Finally on the 28th of Nov was told while my mom was at the store and had me on the phone that check free and the mortgage company jas to acknowledge the payment wasnt made in order to issue a refund. I was given the number to check free to get this corrected. I stayed on the phone with check free for over an hour qhen a representative finally stated they can refund a issue but i or my mom must go back to the currency exchange with the receipt so they can speack to a rep to refund my moms mortgage payment thats been sitting in limbo since Oct 30th. I came to the location and was rudely directed that no one can issue a refund, no one can speak to check free representative, and to come back monday the 3rd to speak to someone. I had check free on the phone questioninv why wont anyone answer her so she can advise on how to process the refund. The girl behind the glass instinctively ignores my request and stated to come back during business hours (which obviously it was business hours). I walked out infuriated because they are not cooperating to issue my mom her mortgage payment maling her appear to be 2 mo late. The check free representative over the phone stated they have to speak to the currency exchange agent to advise them on how to reissue a refund for my moms mortgage. When i left the store i contacted the currency exchange location to speak to a manager and since has been ridely directed again that nothing can be done then placed on a abrupt hold. This is unjust. My mom came in with cash to pay her mortgage on oct 18th and instead the rep made a pro ce ssing mistake and sent the payment to the wrong processing center which is why this occurred and now no one is trying to help her whats so ever. If that doesnt sound like fraud to me idk what is. But i do know we will take every legal step possible for the headache, heartache, ans fear my mom feels going thru this proceaa since oct 18th.

    I went into this Currency Exchange today 04-08-18 around 1:45pm. The worker was not cordial, did not give eye contact and did not even say good Afternoon. Looked like she hated her job! Worked on the computer for 1 second, asked me for the last 4 of my Social. Then tells me I can’t cash my check, that I have to come back tomorrow. Reasoning, a check cashed back in 2004 from college and to check back tomorrow to see if it was paid off. WHAT!! WHAT!! WHAT!! WHAT!! Confused. I have been cashing checks since then-and it’s now 2018, SO WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT! Went to the next Currency in Boilingbrook and check was cashed and a new card was created and put on file that was NEVER done in Romeoville!
